Dr. Barotz is very good at what he does. Work ethic is part of a multifaceted gift in running a business. Other priorities include interaction, camaraderie and trust. For several years I've been his client. We got along very well. The one time, that he was aware of, where my finances were stretched, I asked for payment arrangements on a $1200 procedure. My offer was for 1/2 now, the balance in payments. He abruptly refused any arrangement. First of all, when did monthly payments for medical services go away ? Secondly, my payment history apparently held no substance. This caused me pause. It also brought hurt. I realized he had no trust in me. Me, a long time client who always paid in full. I paid $30,000+ in services to him, yet he couldn't trust me for a $600 balance request. So again, he's a good guy, but it's time for me to move on.

Dr. Barotz and his team are great!! I was told by my former hygienist that I had periodontal disease so I was worried about for days. I went to my long time dentist nearby and she said that my teeth was fine and didn't see anything unusual. To get a second opinion about my oral health, I looked online and learned about LANAP which only Dr. B performed in the metro area. So I called and made an appointment. The receptionist said that I can park nearby and validation of my parking was given by their office. Walking a block to the office was very pleasant and their office is located right on 16th St. very convenient. The reception staff was very efficient and took care of me while I waited for Dr. B. They offered beverages and freshly baked cookies right in the waiting room. I felt at ease even though I was terrified about my oral health. But when Dr. B. exam my teeth and told me that I didn't have any disease, I was thrilled!! He gave me the most honest opinion I heard in weeks!! THANK YOU Dr. Barotz for your professional and honest opinion!!

Did an appointment at this practice. On the way out they offered fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies full of sugar. How un-oral health is that? Poor example, bad dental health, not in the patient's best interest, not going back.

Dr. Barotz is by far not only the best dentist and oral surgeon in the country, but also the most amazing medical practitioner I have ever met. I came into his office on a Friday morning after a horrible freak accident that completely knocked out my front tooth. His team even asked me to come in 4 hours before my scheduled appointment because of my circumstance. This was my very first time ever seeing Dr. Barotz, so this goes to show just how much he actually cares about helping people. He, his assistants, his office managers, his wife, his whole team treated me as if I was family. He was able to temporarily bond my tooth and give me my smile back THAT SAME DAY. His extraordinary talent, along with his incredible team and humble bedside manner make him the absolute best of the best. His office does everything from routine cleanings to oral surgery. As someone who is absolutely terrified of EVERYTHING dental - take my advice and go to Dr. Barotz. THANK YOU Dr. Barotz and team for all of your help so far on this journey. Thank you for doing this WITH me and not TO me. Super special shoutout to the incredible office manager that vowed I would not leave his office that day without a tooth. There are not enough "thank you's" in this world to describe how grateful I am for the grace, compassion and gentle care that I have received from this man and his team. Snaps for Dr. Barotz and team!!!

Went to Barotz dental 4 years ago and I still have no feeling in my bottom lip. After three months had to have his post removed because he pushed so hard down he bent the post. He's rude and very cold person. But I made him rich.

Biggest mistake I ever made coming to Barotz Dental. Had thousands of dollars of overpriced dental work done and it wasn't until after the fact that I was told the work was warrantied for 5 years contingent on getting all future cleanings done at their office for the next 5 years... pretty shiesty way of drumming up business. It's good I maintained that "warranty", because the work failed at least 5 times before getting it right. Since becoming a patient, it's been one issue after another. Most recently, I came in to get my bite adjusted on a filling they did poorly. Dr. Barotz did the bite adjustment himself, and the next day the tooth he made the adjustment on broke. My actual tooth. Broke. After 32 years of not breaking, it breaks 1 day after Barotz adjusts the bite for it. I went in for an emergency to have it taken care of and Dr. Barotz refused to fix the tooth and denied any responsibility for ruining my tooth. His vein was popping because I said it was obviously a result of the adjustment he made the day before and told him he needed to take care of the issue he caused. He told me he was going to call security and was not going to fix the serious damage he caused. Incredibly unprofessional and psychotic (you should have seen him, he could barely control himself). Also, he is rude in general and treats his staff terribly. Don't make the same mistake I did.

I had a wonderful experience at Dr Barotz dental office. The staff are friendly and welcoming .Was scared to death in anticipation of pain during my recent tooth extraction...but Dr Barotz just professionally and smoothly teased the tooth out. I felt no pain as compared to my past experience. .Thumbs up to you Dr B!

Dr.Barotz and his dental team have assured me that they could save my smile and improve my overall oral health...Unfortunately, my love of sweets (soda in particular) has inevitably reached its decaying peak. It was only a matter of time that it was going to get worse, so consequently, I had to do something about it. Dr. Barotz was very down to earth and upfront with me. And his lovely assistant Cheryl, who basically walked me through the dental process because I had dental anxiety. They all really made me feel comfortable and welcomed. They even worked with me, financially speaking. I have grown to love the team, as kind of like an extended family. I am forever grateful to them for changing my life.

This is a zero-star review because my front tooth is a completely different color and the tooth next to the off-colored one is huge and over-sized... I wanted four front veneers. Situation: I had a small chip on a front tooth and an implant on the other front one. I went to Dr. Barotz to get veneers on my FOUR front teeth. I just wanted my teeth to all be the same color and the chip not to show. Tooth ONE - The permanent veneer fell off at least three times requiring more visits to his office. After so many tries and failures, I used super glue to keep it on... no joke. After more visits to the office, he had a technician 3D print a new one that now looks good and has stayed on. Tooth TWO - The veneer is oversized and sticks out in an odd way. But, hey, at least it stayed on. It still sticks out and goes over my upper gum in an unnatural way. Tooth THREE - My front tooth is an odd dark color that other people notice. I get comments on it. This tooth is why I'm writing this review. Tooth FOUR - No problems yet. Every time I get a comment on the odd color of my front tooth, I will write another review. Thank you so much, Dr. Barotz for having me pay over 10 grand for a worse smile.

Dr. Hakim and the staff have seen me for a lot of work over the last 3 years and they're very caring and compassionate about my crooked, half-crowned mouth. They're also great about pricing. They've taken their previous work on a tooth into account if a more extensive treatment ended up being necessary later. With my junkyard teeth I've appreciated their flexibility very much. Thank you for taking great care of my luxury bones!

Very rude, the other reviews about the mistreatment of people on Medicaid are true and pretty much align with how i was treated in the office, such i was hoping to not end up being such but here we are.

I went there about 2 years ago... I was referred by my dentist to have a deep cleaning done. I'm on Medicaid and was treated like a third rate citizen because of this. I was told that they'd have to submit a pre-auth to Medicaid before they'd be able to do the cleaning and they'd get back with me to schedule. They never contacted me to schedule, in fact I don't even think they submitted the pre-auth to Medicaid because I was never notified of approval or denial from Medicaid. He was arrogant and condescending, every time I see his commercials on TV I think about the treatment I received. He told me I would lose all my teeth within the next few years. I'm happy to report that ALL of my teeth are healthy, strong and clean thanks to another caring dentist. I'm nowhere near losing even one tooth... I see now that he does not accept Medicaid... Good, because nobody should be treated like dirt. Update: 5 years later and my teeth are still good and healthy and still receive compliments on my smile....
