Our professionals at Barnwell Family Dentistry maintain all dental accreditation requirements and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in dentistry. All of our team members are CPR and AED certified through the American Heart Association.
Dr. Alberto L. Senz graduated in 1994 from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Further studies took him to the Medical University of South Carolina, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2006. Dr. Senz was a general practice resident at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. As a dental physician resident working in a hospital setting, he gained invaluable knowledge and technical skills from an experienced faculty.
He was an associate dentist at various dental practices before taking over as the owner of Barnwell Family Dentistry in July 2012. Dr. Senz recognizes the tradition of exceptional dental care that was provided by his predecessors since 1954, and he intends to continue the tradition of providing local families with the best possible dentistry with the help of his excellent team.
Dr. Senz is a member of theSouth Carolina Dental Association,American Dental Association, theAmerican Association of Endodontists, theAcademy of General Dentistry,and theAmerican Dental Society of Anesthesiology. One of the best parts of his work is educating patients about their oral health and how it impacts their overall health, as well as helping them overcome a fear of the dentist and giving them a smile that is functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Barnwell native Megan attended Penn Foster College for dental assisting. With the practice for four years, she loves the closeness she shares with the rest of the team and enjoys getting to know patientsold and newon a daily basis.
Amber was born in Pima County, Arizona, but raised in Asheville, North Carolina; she has been in Barnwell for the past 12 years. In preparation for her work, she studied data entry and medical documentation. For Amber, the best parts of her work include helping and meeting new people and working with people who feel like family in a fun and happy place.
Bridgett is an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant who has been with our practice since 2019. She received her diploma from Aiken Technical College. Bridgett is dedicated to excellent patient care. She ensures that our patients feel comfortable throughout the entire treatment process by attending to all their needs and answering any questions they might have. When not at the office, Bridgett loves spending time with her wonderful family.
Kaley is originally from Barnwell and now resides in Williston. Kaley is an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant who received her diploma from Aiken Technical College. In Kaleys opinion, the best part of her job is helping patients who are frightened or nervous and helping them feel more at ease and comfortable.

I was a new patient so I was very nervous. They immediately made me feel comfortable and apart of the family. Even came up with a way to treat me that was affordable. It was more about helping me then the money!!!

The staff and Dr Santos are amazing. Very warm a pleasant atmosphere. They really take care of the patient. I had a root canal done and was very nervous but the Kayla and Dr. Took good care of me. They even called me the next day to see how I was feeling. They get you in and out on time. Thank you Kayla for taking good care of me

Staff is very friendly courteous, professional, and makes you feel like family. The one thing is there is no proper communication about prices. I was surpr. ised at how their much they charged for their services especially since some people have no insurance. I got to the counter and was told one price and when I came back for another service the price was different. Major communication problems and luckily I had that amount of money on me. Like, I said great people and service but bad communication and too expensive

My first time experience was good, everyone was friendly and very helpful. The things I needed done, was explained to me, where I understood clearly on the procedures l needed done. This will be continue to be my dentist to go to.

My trip to the dentist was as pleasant as any trip to the dentist could be. The staff was professional, friendly and and in a good mood. Having Kaley in the room was a real treat as she made me feel like I was at home.

Highly recommend Dr Saenz!! Putting off the dentist for SO long because of a huge fear I finally had to start the process of fixing my teeth. I have been 3 times so far and every visit has been amazing! I have felt absolutely no pain! My fear of the dentist is slowly fading away which is HUGE for me!! If you want a good Dentist surrounded by caring staff I would definitely recommend Barnwell family dentistry!

I was new to the area and had not yet established with a denitist. I bit down on something and had a horrible pain just 5 days before leaving for Europe for 2 weeks. The folks at Barnwell Family Dentistry got me in and fixed me up right away. They were professional, kind and explained everything to me. The doctor is knowledgeable and has a great chair-side manner. I completely recommend them for your dentistry needs.
