Dr. Suzie Barnhill was born and raised in Flat Lick, Kentucky. She attended Knox Central High School and Union College in Barbourville before entering dental school at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Suzie did an additional two years of specialized training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. In 1997, she returned to southeastern Kentucky and started Barnhill Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Suzies passion is serving and loving the underserved children of Appalachia. When away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jonathon, and their 5 amazing children: Peyton, Libby, Hallea, Cameron and Hannah. Dr. Suzies life has been devoted to her family, her practice and her church.
Dr. Candace Flora was born and raised in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Southeastern Kentucky. The quaint little city of Williamsburg, KY is where she called home. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University Of the Cumberlands in 2010. She then went on to earn a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2014. After that, she finished her specialty degree in Pediatric Dentistry in 2016, also from UK. Dr. Candace now resides in Corbin where she loves serving the community and the surrounding communities. She was married to the love of her life, Kevin Flora, in 2010. Her greatest blessings in life are her beautiful children. Her son, Coen, and her daughter, Annistyn, take up most of her free time. She absolutely loves being a mommy, and she is so thankful for her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ (whom she strives to serve everyday)!
Dr. Linsey Cornelius completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Eastern Kentucky University in 2010. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky in 2014. It has always been her passion to work with children so she went on to specialize in pediatric dentistry. She completed her specialty degree at the University of Kentucky in 2016. Dr. Linsey strives to make every childs dental experience one that will lead to a lifetime of great oral health. Dr. Linsey now resides in London, Kentucky with her husband and 3 children.

The staff from the time we walked in until we left, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable! We left feeling nothing but happy and appreciative from our experience.

Took my 2 year old to have her frenam clipped and the staff was amazing. This was our 1st time and everyone was so welcoming. Heather Hancock went above and beyond to provide the best care to my girl. Everything went as smoothly and as perfect as it could. Got to meet Dr Susie who was an absolute jewel.

First time there. The employees are nice-ish but making an appointment time seems to be pointless. People with appointments wait hours past the time made. When asked about the wait, I was told you can't listen to the folks out there in the waiting room because they are probably walk ins (they were not and I certainly wasn't) and that they are busy. As a person who is borrowing transportation to take my children here, I feel as though they do not take the time of their patients seriously. Edit: Also, if you leave a review about a negative aspect of your and others' experience(s), be prepared for them to call you to say sorry, try to guilt trip you about it, and then insist several times that they are happy to transfer your children's care elsewhere.

Jimberly is wonderful!!!! We've seen her the last 2-3 times we've been for a cleaning and we love her!! She does great with my little girl and makes the whole visit enjoyable (and much less scary) for us both!

Highly recommend. Their care and bed side manners are wonderful. The pre-work before surgery is so important for the entire after-care process. My little is feeling so much better now.

My grand daughter age two was sent by kim brown to this place she needed caps on her front teeth were told they would sedate her but when we got to the room they expect a scared two year old to take medicine and then was told they dont sedate children there would not recomend this place at all its not hard to communicate very important information but obviously it is here please be carefull who you choose that will be treating your babies mine are my everthing and will not deal with incompetent people when it comes to a child extra love and care is a must no exceptions.

The whole staff and dentist was amazing with both my sons. They were so friendly and calming with Jace (1 year old)it was his first time to the dentist. They treated Raylan (8 year old) excellent during his visit.

Both of our children go to Barnhill for their dental needs. Our son is completely comfortable with them and does great! Our daughter suffers from anxiety and gets very worked up at just the thought of the dentist.. The staff at Barnhill is amazing with her! She loves nurse Rachel who bonded with her and gained her trust making her visit a breeze! Doctor Candace also done great with her, trinity said that she never hurt her and talked to her the whole time making her more comfortable and keeping her mind off what was goin on! #BarnhillForTheWin

I couldn't have chosen a better pediatric dentist to take my kiddos to. The staff were very kind and helpful, especially Ashley Partin. She really went above and beyond to ease my mind and help the kids have a great experience. Would highly recommend.

In a world of many pediatric dentist office's, there is clearly only one logical choice, and that choice just so happens to be a place where a child can feel like they walked directly into a fairy tale land. This magical office is filled with the wonders and excitements that will make every child feel special, from the decorations to the princesses and princes that work there. The staff, that must have the wonderful privilege to work there, are beyond courteous and helpful throughout the entire visit. My young daughter begs to return to the dentist, so that she herself, can feel like a princess!!

Dr. Barnhill and Audra were top notch with my 7 year old son during his visit! They were very informative in explaining procedure options and took time explaining "in kid terms" so that he would understand. (This eliminated anxiety for both of us). The facility is so kid-friendly and Dawson is excited to go back and get in the "prize machines"!

My two daughters ages 3 and 5 enjoy walking into the castle each time they come to the dentist. They go above and beyond to ease the fears they have before going in. The dental hygienists are so patient and kind while going through the dental checkup. We love all the Drs there especially Dr.Candace! The front office staff is also friendly and make the check out process easy. The office is always very clean and everyone is very organized. We will always be patients of this office!
