A 1979 graduate of Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry. After graduating from MCV, Dr. Selph served in the US Army as an officer in the Dental Corp for 8 years. During this time, he perfected his skills in most aspects of General Dentistry with an emphasis on Crowns, Bridges, and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Selph has been practicing in Cape Charles for the past 30 years. He specializes in General Dentistry and is well know for his artistic abilities and can help you get that perfect smile. He enjoys Cosmetic Dentistry and utilizes the latest techniques in teeth whitening.
He is an active member of the Cape Charles community and frequently visits local schools to educate children on the importance of dental hygiene. He is involved with the Cape Charles Lions club where is currently the Secretary-Treasurer. He is an active member of Hungars Church where he has served in numerous capacities. An avid golfer and outdoorsman allow time for relaxation. Dr. Selph has recently renewed his interest in music with the Hungars Church Choir and playing guitar with guidance from Mark Jensen. Most recently, Jessica gave Dr. Selph his first grandchild, William James Fintel.
A born on the Shore girl, Cindy worked for Dr. Selph from 2010 until 2014. She has returned to Cape Charles bringing her bright smile and dedication to doing the best for our patients. Always thinking ahead makes Cindy is a real asset to our office.

Dr Selph and his staff are always rapid, and efficient with my visits. I have been seeing Dr. Selph as my dentist for a few years now. I won't ever see another dentist. (Until he retires of course )

Update: 1 day before my next appointment on Jun 3 they called and said they don't have a hygienist until August. So if you need a teeth cleaning, it's very much in the air about when you might actually get in. Once you get in, it's worth it! But unfortunately it seems like they are having a hard time with staffing. This was the best dental experience I've ever had. The friendliest staff possible. I'm so happy to have such an amazing dentist so close. Thank you guys!
