Dr. Barnett attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate studies, graduating magna cum laude in 1983. He attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry for his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, graduating in 1986, after which he completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Missouri Kansas City. He participates in continuing education to stay up-to-date with all areas of orthodontics and practice management.
Dr. Barnett has been practicing in the Richfield, Utah, area since 1989. Thats more than 30 years. He strives to provide the best possible orthodontic treatment in a fun and inviting atmosphere. He is a member of several professional organizations, including:
Dr. Barnett and his wife, Susan, have a combined family of 11 children and a few dozen grandchildren. He enjoys traveling, watching the Utes, and all things Disney. Dr. Barnett is also an Eagle Scout, was a member of the Richfield City Council for twelve years, and a former president of the Richfield Chamber of Commerce and Richfield High School Booster Club.

We are on our 3rd family member with braces from Dr Barnett. He has done an excellent job on all of them. The office is so friendly and they have awesome give always all the time.

I was observing him with other patients and he doesn't talk to people that are Mexican for some reason at all. He didn't say a word to one Dividual the entire time that he worked on his teeth that was Mexican. But treats white people nice and talks to them! . Pretty sure he is a possible racist...

Dr. Barnet is great with kids. Their staff has helped two of my children to get straight teeth. Friendly and fast.

Dr Barnett is amazing! Every dentist I go to tells me how good of work I've had done. I love getting told I have perfect teeth! It's also very convenient to have had their brace caboose travel and just leave school for a little bit. Years later I'm still happy

Amazing staff and Dr.Barnett is a great orthodontist. I had my braces done here, my daughter's and my son's treatment that needed done before braces. They do Free estimates and payment plans. And the brace caboose saves time and travel!
