Dr. Barnett grew up in Austin, MN. He attended college at the University of Minnesota, Morris where he studied biology and chemistry and earned his dental degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2002. He opened Barnett Family Dentistry in 2006. He is a member of several dental organizations and does a wide range of continuing education classes to provide the most up-to-date care using the latest technologies.
Dr Barnett enjoys serving his community and is an active member of his church. He enjoys sports, especially football, and loves to travel and garden. He lives with his wife, Liz and their two children and several pets.

The reviews are def true. I just moved to the area and tried this dentist office and all my expectations have been met. The quality of care and detailed explanation of your dental health is great.

Extremely friendly, non judgemental - im in my early 30s and havent exactly been a model dentistry patient- went in for the first time since my wisdom teeth (mid 20s) - Zero judgement- zero lectures- got my teeth cleaned and got the tarter off there. Vs my last dentist gave me an earful about gum care. Set up my next appointment- looking forward to staying on top of things and still no cavities! Wife and daughter will be going here now too(new to the area)

The staff was great. The hygienists are friendly and gentle. Love the assistant, she is so good at her job. Highly recommend going to this office.

Was told a dollar amount for a procedure, took a full day off of work to have it done. I showed up for my appointment on time and was told it was going to be $400 because my insurance company won't cover it all. They went on to act like $400 is no issue. They messed up but they had everything set out, and the staff booked for it. Any other business would have had to honor the original price when scheduling, or at least worked with me on the if they felt I needed the procedure. Instead, they are losing the money for the procedure, and having hygienists stand around for the next 3 hours with tools that all need to be autoclaved again. All because the rude lady at the front desk didn't do her job on the insurance coverage.

I have not been to the dentist in over 12 years, scared as heck to go! The staff is wonderful and friendly! Amanda the Hygienist is amazing along with Dr Barnett, Sarah and Robbie! No lectures or belittling you! Hands down to the entire staff!! Thank You for being kind!

I came for cleaning and that the staffs were punctual. I've been coming here for roughly four years and they do a great job.
