Dr. David Barnes was born and raised in Union City, TN. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. While there, he was captain of the football team, was named male athlete of the year, and was a member of the ATO fraternity. Dr. Barnes received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Tennessee at Memphis and was an honors graduate. Upon graduation, Dr. Barnes settled in Jackson and has been in private practice since 2005. Dr. Barnes is married to Kelly, a Jackson native, and they have two children.
Dr. Barnes is an active member of the Tennessee Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He has served as president of the Seventh District Dental Society and received the Fellowship Award for Distinguished Service from the TDA. Dr. Barnes is also an inductee into the International College of Dentistry. Dr. Barnes has thorough experience treating an array of dental problems but especially enjoys giving patients the smile they have always wanted.

Phenomenal staff. Nice, professional, fun, and very skilled. Dr. Barnes has been my go to for years and will continue to be the one I always recommend. Also, I have never waited more than a couple of minutes to be taken back. Give them a try!

Left part of my tooth in my gum claims he didnt but i called several times he was on vacation so of course he didnt want to admit to it then because he knew my one tooth was weak he wouldnt pull the problamatic tooth now i am sitting here eye swole shut. Face hurts like hell hes tge only dentist ive seen my adult life and he can't remember the work he did not to mention he lost a drill bit in my friends mouth had to get her in for xrays incase it made ut to her lungs horrible none caring dentist cares more about money the the quality of work ill never send anyone to him again

Lynn is simply the best dental hygienist that I have ever had. Dr. Barnes himself is friendly and good at his job. If you visit the dentist to keep your teeth healthy, you can't do better.
