Dr. Michael J. Barlow grew up in Kansas, and is now proud to provide orthodontic care for Camden County, GA and Nassau County, FL. After graduating valedictorian from one of the largest high schools in Kansas, Dr. Barlow continued his education at Kansas State University before entering the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. He graduated Summa Cum Laude earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.).
After graduation, Dr. Barlow worked as an interim instructor at his dental school before entering into a residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. There, he completed over 2 years in advanced training and received his Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics. Since graduation he has continued his education through numerous courses including the Spears and Kois courses in Scottsdale, AZ and Seattle, WA on functional occlusion.
Dr. Barlow is dedicated to giving his patients the best care possible through his continued use of the newest advances in orthodontics technology. To give back, he participates in the Smiles Change Lives national program and created the Give a Grin program with Camden and Saint Marys Middle Schools. He is the current President of the Camden County Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Barlow enjoys tennis and playing guitar. He is the youngest of three brothers, one of whom is also an orthodontist. His greatest joy is spending time with his family and wife Dawn, their daughters Brooklyn and Amelia and their families.

Love this place! I wish every business I worked with was this professional and efficient! They are so wonderful, that I drive from Jacksonville just to see them. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes, their staff is timely, knowledgeable and friendly. Keep up the nice work!

I can't say enough positive remarks about Barlow Orthodontics! All of the ladies in the office, especially Heather, Tiana, Sheri and Eli are so welcoming and professional. They are always so friendly and really try to accommodate to the needs of their clients. I really appreciate how organized and clean the entire office is and how punctual everyone is! I have never had to wait for any of my appointments and they can usually take me back early if I arrive a few minutes ahead of schedule. Dr. Barlow is great at what he does and there are legitimate reasons the office is number one in St. Mary's!

We were told we could do payment plan to get sons braces off if his regular dentist could not do it. When came time he did not honor his word. He also said he would call the regular dentist and one way or another they would get it taken care of and he would not let him fall threw the cracks. Well he didnt get back to us and Yes he left my son fall threw the cracks. He still has his braces on and I can not afford to have them removed. All because we moved from one state to another.who knew it would be this hard to have braces taken off. Everyone is telling me that have yo come off but no one is willing to work with us and help get it done even though they say they will

Just want to say I've gotten so many positive comments from women about how nice my teeth are. They've already set and I can barely tell a difference from the day they came off. You guys really gave me a step up in life & I appreciate you & your staff. Thanks keep up the good work

The staff is very friendly, helpful & gentle most of all. I've had serious issues with my previous orthodontist. Barlow has given me the comfort & quailty I've been looking for in a local orthodontist. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking to make their smile a little brighter. Our daughter just had her braces put on today. Dr. Barlow and his staff have been amazing, and made her feel comfortable every time she comes in. Alley was fantastic with her while putting on her braces! She made sure Ry understood everything that was going to happen, and what she needs to do to keep her teeth and braces clean.
