Dr. Barkoff earned bachelor degree at Penn State University and his DDS degree at the NYU College of Dentistry. He then completed his residency at the VA Medical Center in Northport, NY. There, he received extensive training in prosthetic and implant dentistry. He is passionate about continuing education, having completed hundreds of hours of CE in implant and prosthetic driven training courses. He is always incorporating the latest techniques and equipment into the office, striving to continue to deliver the most cutting edge dentistry for his patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Nassau County Dental Society, and the International Dental Implant Association. In his spare time, Dr. Barkoff focuses on health and fitness and enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons.
Dr. Jill Asheld is a graduate of Adelphi University and New York Universitys College of Dentistry. She is trained in implant and prosthetic procedures. When shes not working, Dr. Asheld enjoys traveling with her husband and baking and cooking for her family. She loves running and playing tennis and beach volleyball.

Since beginning my dental career in 1987 and working in this office since 2004, Ive gotten to know a lot of people. In addition to assisting our doctors at chairside and taking care of lab work, I also maintain our full hygiene schedule so everyone is seen on time. While completing his residency training at the VA hospital in Northport, Dr. Barkoff received extensive training in prosthetic and implant dentistry. He continues to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry and technology through continuing education courses. Its important to Dr. Barkoff that his patients receive the highest quality of care, with the newest techniques and equipment, while feeling comfortable and at home in his office.

Dr. Barkoff is originally from Woodbury, and currently resides in Syosset with his wife Ashley and their three sons, Brooks, Cooper and Hudson. In his spare time he enjoys exercising, playing sports with his kids, and spending time with his family.

From there, Dr. Asheld continued her education at New York Universitys College of Dentistry where she obtained her degree at the top of her class. She was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. After that Dr. Asheld completed her General Practice Residency at the Veterans Hospital in Northport, Long Island. There she had extensive training in restoring implants and complex prosthetic procedures. When shes not working, Dr. Asheld enjoys traveling with her husband and baking and cooking for her family. She loves running and playing tennis and beach volleyball.
Dr. Asheld and her team understand that going to the dentist can be a scary experience. As such, they try to do anything they can to make patients have a pleasant, pain-free experience, while using state of the art techniques. Dr. Asheld is involved in continuing education courses that expand on basic procedures learned throughout her training. Being up to date on the most advanced techniques allows her to ensure that her patients are receiving the best and most current care possible.
