It needs to be said that the general staff and hygienists are incredibly nice. TLDR; If the Dr says you need a root canal, get a second opinion. If he's wrong it'll be your fault and he'll be surprised you're not grateful for the privilege of his care. EXTREMELY COMBATIVE. Went in with pain on the left side of my mouth. Had a filling on that back upper left tooth. From that point on I had pain on the bottom back left tooth. They did a filling on that tooth. The pain remained. The Dr. then said I needed a root canal. (This pain has been going on for the last 3 1/2 weeks). Go to the root canal specialists, they do their scans. Come to find out, I don't need a root canal but I need to pay for the scans they did. By this time Im upset and requested for Barkley boulevard to pay for the scans which were a result of a misdiagnosis. I get a call from the Dr. essentially saying that he's sorry the care they've given isnt good enough for me. Still in pain. Changed offices. Looking forward to a little empathy and quality care.

The receptionist was bubbly; the hygienist was expeditious; the dentist was business- like and had strong, neat hands. I felt like crying with joy and relief.

I'm a big chicken when it comes to pain, especially dental pain. I came to see Dr. Seelye because a friend highly recommended him due to her pain-free visits...and she was right I'm glad to say.

This is Scott commenting: Super friendly staff that greet you with a big smile and friendly conversation. Hygienist is so good. She puts you at ease, gets the job done, always asking if her efforts are uncomfortable - especially making sure to frequently suction your mouth and keep you from choking. Always a quality experience. Love this office.

I have a rather complicated problem with a tooth. Dr Seelye patiently explained to me with x-ray photos and hand drawings why the usual methods would not work and suggested a third less conventional approach that would have a better chance of success. I have decided to go ahead as he suggested, and will report on the outcome in the future

Professionalism and kindness are the two words I would use to describe my experience at BBDC. From the front desk where I know my insurance is being handled well, to the thorough and steady hand of the dental hygiene to the skillful and knowledge work of the doctor. I recommend this practice without reservation.
