I have been using Dr. Barker for 30 years! She is the best around. My daughter also started her dental care with Dr. Barker when she was very young (around 3 yrs old) and stayed with her until she permanently moved to another state after college. When she first moved, she worked her appointments around the time she was visiting NJ which is just a testament to Dr. Barker's work. She is very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and always attentive to her patient's needs. She also offers an in-house insurance plan which is great for those who don't have dental insurance (or have plans which don't cover much). The rest of the office staff is wonderful as well. I highly recommend her!!!

Dr Barker will create a cavity when it really does not exist. In reality, all you need is a fluoride treatment. I was very distressed by the entire experience. I regret sending my daughter to Dr Barker but hopefully you won't make the same mistake. After receiving treatment Case from Dr Barker for no less then Nine cavity We knew we need Second and even third Opinion One Dr replay was "I see that you already sent me the x-rays. Some of the x-rays are not of great quality. Thinks are not totally clear to me. I see some decay, but cannot ascertain all the cavities listed in the treatment plan just from the x-rays. I recommend that you get a second opinion. And just to be certain we reached to another dentists and his replay was....I see beginning cavities in those teeth she noted. I'm not sure I would restore all of them. I would restore the larger ones and have her use fluoride at home and recheck the other ones in 6 months.--

One of my very good friends referred me to Dr. Barker a few years ago. She is careful, skilled, and makes you feel welcomed. She has two beautiful dogs that are happy to greet you from behind their gate Which just adds to the warmth and friendliness of the office. Linda is an amazing front desk staff person who is always helpful and accommodating. If you're looking for one of the best dentist definitely go to Dr. Barker. Hygienists are thorough and great to chat with! All around it's an amazing experience

Over the years I've used a few different dentists, usually located near where I work. I've been a patient of Dr. Barker's for nearly 3 years now and I have to say that she is the finest dentist I've been to. In three years I've needed work on a few different things including a crown, teeth whitening, and a slight realignment of my teeth using Invisalign. I have been extremely happy - her experience is clear to see. I have never been uncomfortable as a patient and her consultations have been spot on (consistent with guidance I have received from other dentist in the past). I came to Dr. Barker while I was under the care of a Periodontist, where I was receiving treatment for a receding gum line. Dr. Barker partnered with this specialist to coordinate care so that the issues have been resolved and I remain under her watchful eye. I have ever confidence in Dr. Barker and her friendly staff and I strongly recommend them.

I am a nurse, and was pretty scared to seek dental treatment during this pandemic. I was due to have a cleaning this past spring, and was buying time until a sensitive tooth became a very sensitive tooth. I knew I couldn't put off going to a dentist any longer. A lifelong friend recommended Dr. Barker and the office was able to fit me in quickly. I was very impressed (from a nurse's perspective) of how diligent the staff were at taking the necessary precautions for everyone to stay as safe a possible. Dr. Barker has a spotless office, with state of the art equipment, specially designed to minimize aerosol exposure. I was very impressed (from a patient's perspective) of the time Dr. Barker spent with me, explaining in detail what needed to be done, and her kind demeanor. I am greatly appreciative of the consideration that was made for me as a "new patient". I have already recommended Dr. Barker to a friend and to a relative. Thank you for taking such good care of me on such short notice.

Excellent doctor - highly recommended. Procedures are quick and competently handled. Machinery and equipment are new and of good quality. You can really tell the difference between a dentist who invests in the best equipment and methods, and one who does not.

Fantastic dentist and terrific human being who has treated my family with kindness and care that can only be described as second-to-none. The absolute BEST in our area who also happens to offer rare, fair pricing to boot. Go.

Highly unprofessional and inconsiderate!! this office scheduled me to come in 8/8/20 weeks in advance. Sent me a confirmation email for my appointment. Then turn around and cancel it the right after they sent the confirmation email. they didn't not try to accommodate me, as far as trying to schedule another appointment, very inconsiderate of the inconvenience this last minute cancellation caused, & they made it hard to get the films for MY teeth so I could find a better and more professional office to do the procedure. I'm currently still waiting on them to send the film for my teeth.

I cracked my tooth on way home from Va., called in the morning and Dr. Barker made space to see me that day and did an excellent extraction, (LOL, She told me she enjoys the occasional extraction.) Everyone was like really nice and kind, looking to be helpful wherever possible. The receptionist treated me like I was her nephew. A very family oriented office. I'd put Dr. Barker in "The Old Pro" category. She's obviously been doing this for some years and has it down pat. She went to UPenn, so she's super intelligent and well studied. At the same time, while very caring, she didn't treat me like a baby, was willing to share any science I was interested in. She seems to enjoy what she does, which, as a Landscape Architect/contractor, is very important to me. I've learned that people who love what they do, will do their best work for me. I need some more work, so we made plans to sit down and formulate something that works well for my life and business schedule, along with an estimate for what the whole shebang might run. I don't know about you, but getting an estimate from medical people is not always the easiest chore. So if you're looking for someone who treats you like a human being, walks you through what is to be done before someone sticks an instrument in your mouth, sticks closely to her appointment schedule as possible, and is not over the top in price, Dr. Barker's is the place to go. I want someone I trust working on me. She certainly engenders that feeling with a kind but straightforward "Chairside manner."
