Dr. Barkate spends all his free time with his wife, Krystal and their children, Maddie and Cooper. He stays active by playing with his family, volunteering in his community, and remembering to enjoy each and every day.
Barkate & Nehi Orthodontics is happy to announce the addition of our new Orthodontist, Dr. Nehi Ogbevoen. Dr. Nehi will be joining Dr. Barkate and our Team to provide you and your children with the very best orthodontic care and experience that can be found anywhere.
Dr. Nehi, is a Certified Orthodontic Specialist and proud Triple Trojan. Dr. Nehi completed his BS, MS, and DDS at the University of Southern California (USC). When he is not in the office, Dr. Nehi can be found perfecting his swing on the golf course, taking a spin class, or trying out the trendiest restaurants with his wife. Nehis wife, Sienna, is also a dentist and grew up in Newport Beach and attended Newport Harbor high school.

I have been so pleasantly surprised by this place from the prices to the doctors to the orthodontist assistants! Three of my children and I have gotten (or are in midst of) orthodontia work here. I especially appreciate Xavier and Gil (assistants) and Kelly in the office! Thanks for all of your care. Dr. Nehi has also been so helpful and unhurried.

We've had 3 children go through orthodontia at Barkate/Nehi and couldn't be more thrilled with how their smiles are turning out. Our son just completed his 2nd phase and has been getting a lot of compliments on his smile. It's gorgeous. Friendly staff and easy appointments. Thank you to the entire team!

We had a great experience with Barkate Nehi Orthodontics! Dr Nehi was so patient and great at explaining every step of the process. The staff and front desk are so friendly and fun to work with. They did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend their practice to anyone looking for a great smile

Big day! My daughter just got her braces off today and her teeth look aaamazing!!! This has been a first rate experience from beginning to end! Thank you for making my daughter grin from ear to ear! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic ortho practice! This place ROCKS!

We've loved our time with Barkate Orthodontics! Our oldest started phase one with them and we were so sad to have to move (active duty military family) prior to doing phase two. All of the office staff is great, and we especially loved Dr. Nehi once he joined their team. We consulted with a couple orthodontists in the area and didn't regret choosing Barkate. Their prices were better or comparable for the same treatment plan and their office and customer service were better than I could've expected. Our daughter always felt welcomed and comfortable by the staff. We've gone to the San Clemente and Ladera Ranch locations and had great experiences at both. Would always recommend them for anyone needing orthodontic care in the area. And for our fellow military families, they did offer a military discount.

I had braces when I was in high school but my teeth have moved around since then. I wanted to try Invisalign to straighten things out and I couldn't be happier with the results. My teeth look great! Dr. Nehi did an amazing job. I visited 3 of their offices (San Clemente, Ladera Ranch, and Newport) and all of them were very nice.

Dr. Barkate is an awesome Orthodontist!!! He treats all of his patients like they are family. And the office staff are all very friendly. Definitely a great place for Braces or Invisalign for both children and adults!!!

We love this office!! Barkate Orthodontics is the BEST! The office is nice, they have gifts and games for the kids along with coffee and great conversations for the adults. The best part is they make BEAUTIFUL SMILES there. If you choose Barkate Orthodontics you won't be disappointed!
