A Texas native, Dr. Barber was born in Sweeny and received his undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. He served as a captain in the US Air Force after graduating from the University of Texas Dental School in Houston and served three years at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska. He also practiced as an associate for Dr. Eric Beutow in North Pole, Alaska before moving back to Texas in 2007 with his wife, Carolina.
Dr. Barber is dedicated to creating the best possible patient experience. He believes that patient care should be a collaboration. He also firmly believes that education is an important part of any treatment plan, helping to empower patients when making decisions about their oral health.
Dr. Miri was born in Austin, Texas. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin and attended dental school at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. After graduating in 2015, he immediately packed up, headed back home to Austin and began practicing in San Marcos. He is excited to be practicing in New Braunfels, where he spent a lot of time as a child.
Dr. Miri enjoys volunteering in his free time, but is also an avid sportsman. He credits many things to his decision to pursue dentistry, but none more than volunteering for the Texas Mission of Mercy. This large event takes place in various cities in Texas throughout the year and is dedicated to serving the underprivileged who have little or no access to dental care.
When he is not in the office taking excellent care of his patients, Dr. Miri enjoys playing soccer, flag football, lacrosse, boxing, running around the hike and bike trail, and being outdoors in general.

Rivercrest Family Dental is the most caring dental service I have ever encountered. From the front desk receptionist to the dental Hygienists to the team of dentists, the pleasant atmosphere and the excellent care is truly exceptional. A special shout out to Dr. Barber, and Kathy for keeping me so dentally healthy for over 18years. I would recommend this dental Office to anyone who wants great care. Whether it is a simple cleaning, major dental work, or Invisalign--Rivercrest Family Dental always takes care of their patients. From flexibility in scheduling, to reminders and follow up after procedures, they always lead with courteous and consistent customer service. The folks at Rivercrest Family Dental are always friendly and helpful with all of my dental needs. I recently had a problem with a new implant. I called and they got me in immediately.
