Our practice is patient centered, offering preventative, and family oriented, restorative and cosmetic dentistry for individuals 1 to 99+. Our practice continues to grow as a result of referrals by patients pleased with our Services.

  • We love seeing children! For your childs very first dental visit your child can sit on their parents lap. Our goal is a FUN experience at our office. Every child will leave with prizes, stickers, a new toothbrush, activity coloring book and a smile on their face!
  • We offer Nitrous Oxide Analgesia for calming stressed individuals and for some as a substitute for local numbing or in conjunction with local anesthesia. Nitrous Oxide Analgesia allows many anxious people to feel more relaxed and calm.
  • To provide the best possible care to our patients, we do refer to specialists. We advocate a TEAM approach for comprehensive dental care. Our patients can choose a specialist of their own choice, preferably near their home or workplace.

Our dental office is a preventive oriented, family, cosmetic and restorative private practice. My staff and I are committed to providing careful, thorough, conscientious dentistry with honesty, integrity and compassion.

Dr. Urbano and her dental team realize that most people do not enjoy going to the Dentist for a variety of reasons such as the following: time constraints, financial concerns, fear, anxiety, and embarrassment, lack of interest and needle phobia. We understand and empathize with these barriers! Our staff strives to diminish and help patients overcome obstacles to dental treatment. We want your dental visits to be less of something to avoid and more of your pursuit of a beautiful, healthy, comfortable smile.

My Staff and I want to get to know you as a patient and what your expectations are. Dentistry has so much to offer nowadays: the sky is the limit! If a patient wants to proceed at a slower pace, well accommodate that request. While other patients may desire more advanced comprehensive care, our office can provide several options that will satisfy specific expectations as well as provide optimal dental health solutions.

Our goal is to maintain the philosophy of Golden Rule dentistry: treat patients as if they are a member of our extended family. We utilize an intra-oral camera as a communication and educational tool to show patients inside their mouth. Patients Love to see their before and after photos. The doctor also utilizes magnification loupes to magnify details during dental procedures.

Dr. Urbano enjoys spending time with Family and Friends. She loves walking her rescue dog, amateur nature photography, collecting rocks, minerals , seashells and fossils as well as gardening, reading, music and travel.

The staff were amazing! Everyone was so kind and friendly! I'd never been to a dentist's office with so many different flavors available for a cleaning. The dentist herself worked on me skillfully and gently. I felt very comfortable in her care and would recommend her to anyone in the area!

I'm a bad grinder, which has caused stress fractures in most of my teeth. Its not unusual for corners of my teeth to break off. Doc is amazing and deeply cares about the end result. Three crowns later, I recommend her to anyone who's looking for a dentist. Also, the hygiene staff and office manager Clair are just top shelf.

Dr.Urbano fixed my two broken front teeth. She did a beautiful job creating the teeth to look and feel like real teeth. The critical part of the design was to match my other teeth so it looks so natural in my mouth. Thank you so much for giving me back my smile Dr. Urbano.

The receptionist and dental assistant were pleasant, the dentist however, one Barbara Urbano, upheld any and all negative stereotypes about dentistry. I hadn't seen a dentist for a very long time prior to visiting the office, I'm in my early twenties and saved up with my first job out of school to fix my dental issues after a childhood without visits and a family of troublesome teeth, only going for pain related issues as a teenager. As I said, even looking past the very dated equipment in the office that gave me the feel of the 1970s, my experience wasn't that bad leading up to meeting the actual dentist. By the time she entered the room the x-ray pictures were already up on the screen for her to comment on and comment she did. She pointed some pictures out to me on the screen, telling me it would take years to correct my teeth, she asked me if I was a drug addict or was at one point addicted to drugs, not aside from smoking a little weed in college I said with a smile. At this point she was dismissive, maybe she thought I couldn't afford it as my insurance wouldn't cover problems to this magnitude. She said I would need at least 8 teeth pulled, including my 4 wisdom teeth, and that she could not help me, I would have to see an oral surgeon to have them pulled before doing anything else. She wrote a note of suggestions for a surgeon, said come back for a cleaning once your mouth is fixed, I paid my bill and left. I ended up visiting another office within about a mile or two but I won't mention it because that's not the point. The office had several general dentists and an oral surgeon one day out of the week. I am so happy I got a second opinion before making an appointment to have me teeth pulled, following Barbara Urbanos advice of course. The general dentist and his assistant asked why Barbara Urbano couldn't do a root-canal, I said she told me to see a surgeon and they couldn't figure out why as the dentist could easily save the teeth in question, in fact I had a root canal on the spot. The office was extremely modern by the way. I ended up getting three root-canals followed by three crowns on the teeth that were saved, had several cavities filled and eventually had my wisdom teeth taken out, it took all of about 5 months consisting of a visit every few weeks, not years, and most of the time I was just waiting for the three crowns to be made as well as being on a waiting list for the wisdom teeth. The best thousands I ever spent, I go for cleanings there every 6 months now. Thank goodness there are other dentists nearby.
