Dr. Antoaneta Cristina Barba is a Santa Ana & Fullerton dentist with over 20 years of general, cosmetic, reconstructive, aesthetic and implant dentistry experience. Dr. Barba earned a degree of Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) at the prestigious University of Southern California School of Dentistry as well as another degree of Doctor in Dental Surgery at the University of Timisoara, Romania School of Dentistry.
I am a registered dental assistant working full time at Barba Dental Corp. Some of my responsibilities at work are to care for patients, assist doctors needs, and keep the office clean. I treat every patient as if they were family and make sure they're happy with their visit. On my days off I spend time with family and travel to Mexico. I enjoy educating patients about their dental health and seeing their smiles at Barba Dental.
As the Office Manager for Barba Dental and Barba DDS my job is to oversee the offices operations and I am committed to making our patients and their families experience in our office a positive one! I joined Barba Dental in 2014 and have over 6 years of general dentistry experience and over 10 years of customer service. I have also had the opportunity to serve our patients as a Treatment Coordinator for 6 years. My goal is to incorporate the wealth of knowledge and customer service that I have acquired to equip our team to best serve our patients and their families. Outside the office My husband and I enjoy Bible education, traveling, and spending time with our friends and family.
My name is Norma Isabel, I am the floor supervisor of Barba Dental. I am an experienced and detail oriented Dental Assistant. Experienced in sterilization, infection control, whitening method, patient care and everything related to general dentistry. I am also the marketing representative of the office. Always looking for ways to make the office grow, my plan is to interest our new patients with our high quality service and our great team work.

BEST DENTAL OFFICE I've ever been to! I've been to many dentists throughout my life, my experience here far exceeds any in the past. The dentist and staff are very skilled, knowledgeable, trustworthy and caring. Everyone is very attentive and I feel they have my best interest at heart. I highly recommend them to everyone! If you come here you won't regret it! :)

I've been a patient of Dr. Barba for over 10 years; all this time my overall dental health improved a lot. At this moment in time, I have no cavities, no issues after many complicated and difficult dental procedures. Besides those qualities, I have noticed the overall cleanest of the office and the good manners of all the staff. Keep up the good work Barba Dental!

But I went in for a tooth to be pulled and they did other work except for the tooth pulling. Went twice and still haven't got my tooth pulled. I won't be returning

All the doctors working at Barba Dental are the best, they all understand your concerns and will address them all! It's a family friendly place, excellent care from the reception to the doctors. Everyone is so caring, kind, smiling and just the best. They are always available for all your dental needs! Best part is that they always talk to you about your treatment plan and insurance before any treatment is done. Thank you Barba Dental for taking care of my smile!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Barba!!! After a visit to a chain-based clinic in the area, they told me I would need an 800 dollar crown!! My last visit to the dentist before I ran into my toothache was over 4 years ago and it was so traumatic it left me hating dentists. There are so many out there that I feel like are just trying to make a house payment and don't care about their patients at all!!!! Dr. Barba was very patient and did an excellent job calming me down as I was so nervous I was almost shaking. I have very sensitive teeth and in the past always felt pain when having procedures done on them. She made sure the experience would be completely painless, and it was!!! They even have TVs with movies playing at each of the chairs- just a small little bonus but it did a great job from keeping my mind running while I was waiting. Best of all, upon getting my second opinion from Dr. Barba she told me I would not need a crown! She treated 2 different teeth that were side by side in the problem area for the cost of what the other clinic told me just one would cost! Definiately some of the lowest costs you'll find in orange county. Most importantly, I finally have found a dentist I believe I can trust.

I'd had a missing molar and deteriorating teeth next to it for decades. It was getting me a lot of problems chewing. Because of a bad experience with a dentist long time ago, I was reluctant to go to another dentist to fix it. But, luckily, I found Dr. Barba who made me a crown and install it in no time. No pain, no time wasted, Saturday visits (which are better for my week busy schedule). I was delighted. The crown fits perfect. It gives me a stronger chewing now. It matches the other teeth. I am very satisfied To not mention that the dental office is very clean, bright and nice. It has the latest, most advanced technologies. Dr. Barba is very friendly and professional. She gave me explanations prior to every step. She was very careful to avoid any pain or discomfort. She really did a very good work. She is one of the best dentists in Orange County, so I warmly recommend Dr. Barba and her dental office.

Best Dentist in Santa Ana!!! You cannot find a better dentist then Dr. Barba. I have tried several dentists in the local area and not one of them comes close to the quality of care let alone price. This is my 2nd visit and they always make me feel extremely comfortable, provide professional service and have a friendly staff. Thank you Dr. Barba!

This place has left me with a great impression for a few reasons: 1) The first thing that caught my attention was the fact that every station has its own x-ray machine. I like this because I don't have to go into an "x-ray room," which means that if the Dr wants extra insight regarding my teeth, her assistants can quickly take that x-ray and provide a better idea of what's going on. 2) The Dr and her assistants work very well with each other. There appears to be a "family atmosphere" about them, and you can tell that the employees don't have that "I'm just here to do my job and go home" attitude about them. 3) Let's face it - going to the dentist isn't on anyone's list of pleasurable pass-times. Dr. Barba understands when a patient may experience some pain and proceeds with the acknowledgement that pain may be felt. She has you lift your hand if you feel pain so she knows when/if to back-off and/or adjust what she's doing. Overall, I highly recommend this place. I live four hours away and don't mind waiting until I'm in town to have dental work done. If I had a dental emergency, and was able to drive to Dr. Barba, I would.

I contacted Barba Dental because it was close to my work and is conviniently placed. I am happy to report that she was firendly and very professional. Her staff was great in ensuring I recieved the best care possible. Even though I have been there a few times, I am happy to say she is the best doctor arround , she takes the time to explain and make me feel confortable.
