A true Long Beach native, Dr Baral was born at St Marys Hospital and raised only blocks from the dental office he started 28 years ago. He attended local schools, graduating from Wilson High in 1971. He then attended Occidental College in Los Angeles and graduated with a BA in 1975. Dental school was at the respected New York University Dental School in New York City, graduating in 1979.
Dr. Baral chose a career in dentistry because he saw how much his older brother enjoyed it. He had thought of joining his brother in San Diego, but was drawn back to Long Beach where he married and helped raise two girls who are now married and starting families of their own in the local area.
He has recently begun working with the Assistance League of Long Beach Orthodontic Clinic, donating his services to help low-income patients with severe orthodontic problems. He is also active in other local and national charitable organizations.

Dr. Baral has twice saved me from a invasive, costly and unnecessary procedures. Now that I'm back to a PPO he will be my permanent dentist. His staff is amazing as well.

I had issues most of my life with Novacaine not being affective and other oddities that have created discomfort while visiting the dentist. Dr. Baral has been the first to consistently provide a pain-free experience, that is includes a root canal. I couldn't recommend him enough

After a few years of bouncing from dentist to dentist because of upsales and unnecessary work, my wife and I found Dr. Baral. We've been going to him now for about 8 years and our only fear is that he will retire one day. We hope that day is long away! Best dentist ever! We moved to Huntington Beach and still make the trip in to Long Beach because we won't find another like him. WE highly recommend him!

Very good experience! Even though I have been going to Dr. Baral's office for cleanings and checkups, I have not had any dental work done in many, many years. I had a bridge done today with little to no discomfort. Dr. Baral made me feel at ease and explained everything along the way. I would highly recommend this office and staff for all dental needs!
