Dr. Alma graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University where she double majored in Child Development and Community Health. After completing college, she went on to work in various settings, which have all contributed to her skills today. She was a counselor in a residential childrens home, she worked as a nurses aid in an emergency room, she was a dental assistant, and she was also a waitress for several years.
Dr. Alma completed her dental education at New York University. Her most memorable experience at NYU was when she traveled to Grenada and Mexico to provide dental care to underserved children. As a dental student, she was the recipient of the Presidential Service award for her dedication to community service and outreach. She was also awarded the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Predoctoral Student Award and was acknowledged by the American Association of Women Dentists for her academic excellence and outstanding leadership.
Dr. Alma completed her pediatric dental training at North Shore LIJ Hospital. During this time, she was named Chief Resident and was recognized as resident of the year in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. She is currently a board certified pediatric dentist and a member of The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and American Board of Pediatric Dentistry

Wonderful experience ! I was so nervous because I knew how difficult my child would be, but Dr. Alma and her staff were so fantastic and quick! Very pleasant experience. My daughter came fearful and left happy and not traumatized.

Dr. Alma and the rest of the staff are awesome. My 5 year old had to get her first 2 baby teeth pulled out. However, Dr. Alma and staff made her feel very comfortable during the visit. I am very pleased as a mother with the service my daughters are receiving in this dental facility.

It was my 1 year old son's very first dentist appointment. Dr. Correia and the rest of the staff were amazing. My son felt very comfortable and they made sure that the appointment was fast as to keep his attention. Thanks so much. Highly recommend.

Both the dental assistant and the dentist where great with my four year old daughter. It was her first dental visit and she was a little bit scared. However, her fear was short lived once the dental assistant spoke to her and explained in a simple and playful way what was being done. They also didn't force anything on my child and took it at her pace while still being efficient.

Dr Alma and Baptise Orthondotics staff made my kids first experience a lot more comfortable. My daughter gets nervous with new things. I really had to get in character that day too. But the staff was incredible. Took me back to my first and favorite dentist as a kid. This is a really special dental practice. The baby alligators are cool too.

Dr. Alma and the assistants were amazing. It was both of my children's first dental visit and even when my youngest had a meltdown, they handled it patiently and professionally. Every step was explained simply and they gave me clear instructions on next steps. I left confident that my kiddos were in the best hands.
