My wife Erin and I have been blessed with four great kidsMcKay, Natalie, David and Samuel. We initially moved to St. Louis for my orthodontic training, but realized wed found our home in the Midwest. I enjoy spending time with my family, participating in church activities, playing basketball, and reading. I also enjoy running and cycling, and try to complete several triathlons each year.

Dr. Alex began his orthodontic career after working in private practice as a general dentist. Like his colleagues, he is Invisalign certified and passionately committed to continuing education on this and other innovative technologies.
Dr. Alex lives with his wifeAlisonin the Lake Saint Louis area with theirthree beautiful daughters, Alyssa,Evelyn, and Elaina. When he's not in the office, he's either spending time with the girls, biking, or playing board games. He loves cookies, music, and chalupas. (Seriously, he has a chalupa almost every day!) He also serves as the currentmusical director of theRising Generation Youth Chorus.

I was born and raised in a small town in central Kentucky and obtained my undergraduate and dental degree from the University of Kentucky, GO CATS! Almost three years ago I moved to St. Louis to begin my orthodontic training at St. Louis University, and I fell in love with the Midwest. I have truly enjoyed these last few years in St. Louis exploring all of the different offerings the city has. I feel so lucky and proud to call St. Louis my new home. I am a firm believer in treating my patients like family. I truly look forward to meeting you and making your orthodontic experience a success by delivering exceptional patient care all while having fun!
In my free time I love to hike, ski, cook, and spend time with my lovely significant other, Phillip and our dog, George. Together we enjoy being outdoors, traveling and exploring new cities and National Parks, and trying new and delicious foods. While I enjoy watching the Cards and Blues, I am an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan and Netflix enthusiast.
Dr. Jacob grew up in southern Illinois and afterfinishing his orthodontic residency at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, he is thrilled to be back in the area as a member of the Bankhead Orthodontics team. He loves coming to work every day and has already experienced the rewards of making a difference in patients lives. Dr. Jacob learned the newest advancements in treatment techniques during his residency, including 3D printing, digital scanning and Invisalign.
When not working, I truly enjoy traveling and have been an avid scuba diver for over a decade. As a lifetime St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan, there are few things better than attending a home or away game or taking in a great concert.

Great staff, great doctors, and great office environment. They go above and beyond to make sure the kiddos are comfortable, the front desk staff is super helpful, and the office is always clean and well taken care of. Dr. Oldroyd is very knowledgeable and friendly. He created a treatment plan that has done wonders for my daughters teeth and is very personable every time we visit. I'm also thankful to have a great office in Warrenton that is this close to home!

I've been coming here for over a year and the experience has been pleasant every time. They are always good about explaining what they are doing before they do something that isn't part of the normal routine. I have never been in any real discomfort when they work in my mouth and they always ask how everything feels in there before I get out the door. I would recommend them to anyone who needs braces.

Ty is preparing for phase 2 and we recommend Bankhead to everyone. The staff is outstanding, the doctors are terrific with the patients and I feel like they are family. We've been with them for 6 years and all three boys.
