My wife Erin and I have been blessed with four great kidsMcKay, Natalie, David and Samuel. We initially moved to St. Louis for my orthodontic training, but realized wed found our home in the Midwest. I enjoy spending time with my family, participating in church activities, playing basketball, and reading. I also enjoy running and cycling, and try to complete several triathlons each year.

Dr. Alex lives with his wifeAlisonin the Lake Saint Louis area with theirthree beautiful daughters, Alyssa,Evelyn, and Elaina. When he's not in the office, he's either spending time with the girls, biking, or playing board games. He loves cookies, music, and chalupas. (Seriously, he has a chalupa almost every day!) He also serves as the currentmusical director of theRising Generation Youth Chorus.

Almost three years ago I moved to St. Louis to begin my orthodontic training at St. Louis University, and I fell in love with the Midwest. I have truly enjoyed these last few years in St. Louis exploring all of the different offerings the city has. I feel so lucky and proud to call St. Louis my new home. I am a firm believer in treating my patients like family. I truly look forward to meeting you and making your orthodontic experience a success by delivering exceptional patient care all while having fun!
In my free time I love to hike, ski, cook, and spend time with my lovely significant other, Phillip and our dog, George. Together we enjoy being outdoors, traveling and exploring new cities and National Parks, and trying new and delicious foods. While I enjoy watching the Cards and Blues, I am an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan and Netflix enthusiast.
Dr. Jacob grew up in southern Illinois and afterfinishing his orthodontic residency at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, he is thrilled to be back in the area as a member of the Bankhead Orthodontics team. He loves coming to work every day and has already experienced the rewards of making a difference in patients lives. Dr. Jacob learned the newest advancements in treatment techniques during his residency, including 3D printing, digital scanning and Invisalign.
When not working, I truly enjoy traveling and have been an avid scuba diver for over a decade. As a lifetime St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan, there are few things better than attending a home or away game or taking in a great concert.

Bankhead does a great job. They are knowledgeable and friendly. My kids always say nice things about the technicians. Not to mention that We are late on occasion and they are always gracious and accommodating.

My daughter Avery has had her braces on for a year had just had Diane as her doctor for her latest appointment and just said the most wonderful things! All of her doctors have been so amazing and we definitely picked the right ortho!

Alexis, Diane, Stacy, and Sierra are all amazingly open and fun, and made coming to every appointment feel great - the atmosphere in the office is brilliant! And Dr. Lenius and Dr. Ethington made sure my treatment went perfectly while being just as personable. Would definitely recommend Bankhead's Chesterfield office for anyone looking into orthodontic work!

I go to the Chesterfield office, BY FAR the best group of people!!! Sierra is always pleasant and welcomes everyone, Diana, the manager, is amazing and thoughtful, Alexis is one of the assistants in the back and I just adore her. Alexis is gentle and funny and cares about my family as a whole. Dr Courtney is AMAZING!!! She has the BEST bedside manner and always puts you at ease. My kids and myself are in treatment- my oldest daughter has finished and Dr Courtney and team gave her a gorgeous smile! I have about 6 months left and I would recommend everyone to this office. You will NOT be disappointed. They are truly the best!!! My son sees all the assistants in the back and he loves them all and this child is scared of dentists. He has never cried, never been upset. never complained. They are gentle, caring, and PATIENT with children who are more challenging in the chair.

Everything about this practice is top notch. I get appointments that work for my schedule. All the technicians and Dr's are thorough. It is great that my child does not mind whenever she has to go for an appointment. They are so patient, kind, and professional. I would tell everyone to come here for orthodontic work!!
