John R. Firth, D.D.S., M.S. attended Brigham Young University (Provo, Utah) and received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989. He was awarded a four-year Resident Dental Education Scholarship in 1988, and attended Creighton University School of Dentistry (Omaha, Nebraska) Graduating in 1992 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree, and was a member the Honorary Omicron Delta Kappa Fraternity. In 1994, Dr. Firth obtained a Masters degree in Dentistry for Orthodontics from Saint Louis University School of Orthodontics, known as one of the finest orthodontic programs in the United States.

Dr. Firth is an active member of the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, and the World Federation of Orthodontics. By continuing to attend workshops and seminars, Dr. Firth remains up-to-date in the latest techniques and procedures in order to provide the best care possible for his patients. Recently Dr Firth began teaching Clinical Orthodontics at Saint Louis University.

Dr. Firth has a beautiful wife, Michelle, They have four wonderful sons: Tyler, Justin, Ryan, and Jason. Tyler is Married and has 2 wonderful boys. Justin is in Dental School in Phoenix Arizona. Ryan is a student at Brigham young University and has recently joined the Air Force. Jason Recently returned from a 2 year volunteer Church mission and is currently studying at Brigham Young University.

Kevin C. Kaiser, D.D.S., M.S. grew up in Sunset Hills and attended Lindbergh High School. He then went on to the University of Missouri - Columbia (Mizzou) and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2012 graduating with University Honors.

He attended University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry and graduated in 2016 Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree. In 2015, Dr. Kaiser was the winner of the American Dental Association Student Ethics competition (see his winning video here) and received the Humanitarian Award from the International College of Dentists for exemplifying and demonstrating passion for altruistic humanitarian service as a dental student. He received the Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry Award from the Academy of Osseointegration for his research on implants while in dental school. Dr. Kaiser was inducted into the honors fraternity Omicron Kappa Upsilon for being in the top of his dental class.

In 2018, Dr. Kaiser graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics program obtaining his Orthodontic Specialty training certificate. During his residency, he completed the requirements for a Master of Science degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences for his novel research on the nasal septums role in human craniofacial development.

Dr. Kaiser and his wife Megan are excited to return to the St. Louis area where he grew up and to serve the same community that provided so much for him. When hes not straightening teeth, Dr. Kaiser is training for triathlons and can be found cheering on the Blues.

Hi all, Im Wendy. I have worked in the Dental Industry for 39 years, and 37 years of those have been in Orthodontics. For the last 12 years, I have worked in the front of house for Dr. Firth managing the day to day operations that keep the office running smoothly. I love my job and find it very rewarding to work with such great patients. In my opinion, there is nothing better than watching a smile transform. Outside of the office, I love to play volleyball, spend time with my husband, children, and especially my grandchild!

Hello there, my name is Amanda! I am Dr. Firths Treatment Coordinator and the first person you will meet with when you come into the office for a New Patient Exam. I am a Missouri native that grew up in the Oakville area, and I even attended Lindenwood University. I feel as though I have found a home in orthodontics, which is why I have been in the industry for the past 10 years. I love working with new patients, providing them with a warm, friendly experience and seeing the confidence that patients gain throughout treatment in our office. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a daughter named Josie, and she is my pride and joy!

Hi, my name is Missy and I have 20+ years of experience in the field of orthodontics. Im a certified orthodontic assistant who is also expanded functions certified. I love interacting with the patients and making sure they feel comfortable and leave happy. As the Observations Coordinator I work side by side with Dr. Firth making sure that our youngest patients get the attention they need to keep track of their growth and development. In my time away from work I enjoy running, biking, hiking, camping, traveling and watching St. Louis Blues Hockey with my husband and two amazing kids.

Hello, my name is Mel and I work in the office as a Communications Coordinator. I have been with Bankhead & Firth Orthodontics since 2014, and have been in the industry for about 7 years after I graduated from the Missouri college dental assisting program. I came into the practice not knowing much at all about orthodontics, but I have learned and grown so much during my time with Dr. Firth. One of my favorite things about my job is getting to see the smiles on all of our patients faces when they have completed treatment. Outside of work, I love spending time with my daughter, family and all of our animals.

Hello my name is Lynn, I am a newest employee here at Bankhead and Firth Orthodontics. I work in the front office as a Communications Coordinator. Although, I am a new employee, I am not new to Bankhead and Firth Orthodontics.
