Dr. John A. Bamonte, a native of the Pittsburgh area, is a graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and finished in the top 10 of his class in 1984 with the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine. Through 1985, Dr. Bamonte practiced general dentistry with his father in Natrona Heights and concurrently earned a Master of Science degree in Anatomy/Histology at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Bamonte served a four-year hospital surgical residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, and received his certificate in June 1989. The Medical College of Virginia is among the four largest university health centers in the United States and enjoys a pre-eminent national reputation in oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as general surgery, cardiac surgery, and head trauma research.
Dr. Bamonte enjoys a variety of sporting activities and hobbies and is an avid reader with a special interest in history and the fine arts. Dr. Bamonte resides in Pine Township with his wife and has three grown children.
Dr. Bamonte continues to grow in the field of oral surgery as he is a practicing oral surgeon in Wexford serving the Pittsburgh area for its wisdom tooth removal, dental implant, and other oral surgery-related needs.

Staff does not know how to set a time for an appointment. Twice they made an appointment that was a different time to what was given to me. The first time I actually visited the office. I could understand 1 time, but it happened again at another time. When brought to "Summer"s attention she showed quite an attitude. "If I wanted to change it, I would have to wait for weeks." I will never go back to this practice. I have found another place. Front staff reflects on the whole practice. But I guess you gotta take staff when you can get them, even if it is pulling from the bottom of the barrel.

I got my wisdom teeth extracted today and my experience was beyond 5 stars. The whole staff including the anesthesiologist and Dr. Bamonte were wonderful. I would recommend this facility to everyone! Thank you again.

I have dealt with every aspect of Doctor Bamonte's office not only Doctor Bamonte, but also his office staff with insurance issues and the surgical technicians during the dental procedure. They are as friendly and courteous as can be. Very professional experience.

I recently had an implant done by Dr. Bamonte. The procedure went very well but as important was their excellent service throughout the entire process. The entire staff did a great job of explaining the process and financial aspects. Best of all was that on all of my visits, I had NO wait time. Everything ran on time and smoothly every visit. Some of best medical service I have received. Thanks!!!!!

My son had his wisdom teeth out on Friday and it went just as well as the time he took my daughters wisdom teeth out. Dr. Bamonte and his staff explained the process from start to finish. Office is spotless, staff is great and I would strongly suggest his office to anyone!!! Thank you Dr. Bamonte and team.

Well I thought they were far more professional than any others I went to and believe me I know them all. They were very thorough and knowledgeable . I wish I had used them for everything..there are some others locally who are horrible . The dentist is probably the best in Pittsburgh. I had my records evaluated by other professionals Just hope I do t need more of their services lol....
