Jessica Lindsey is a calm and caring hygienist. She always answers patients questions honestly and clearly to ensure they receive the best care possible. To help her patients feel comfortable, Jessica enjoys making her patients laugh and getting to know them on a personal level. Finding common ground goes a long way when building rapport, especially with new patients.
Every dentist is trained to help you achieve a healthy mouth, but for exceptional dentistry and for a smile that will last a lifetime, you will need a dentist who offers more than just basic technical skills. Since 1988, Dr. Duke Kim has been focused on constant education, implementation, and improvement. He has never stopped learning! He believes the more he learns, the better he can be for our patients and the more he can offer to improve and change lives through dentistry.
Although a native of South Florida, Dr. Lokitis received her undergraduate education from the University of Maryland in College Park and then earned her doctorate from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, where she received special honors at graduation for her treatment in prosthodontics. She continued her education with a one-year general practice residency at York Hospital in Pennsylvania where she received advanced training in veneers, oral surgery, implant surgery and managing dental trauma as well as providing care for children, elderly and special needs patients.
She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Greater Washington Academy of Dental Studies, the Seattle Study Club and the Virginia Academy of Comprehensive Dentistry, which provide continued education in the latest dental technologies.

Our office is conveniently located one block from the Ballston Metro Station on the Orange/Silver lines. If you prefer to drive to the practice there is metered parking located right outside our door. Otherwise, you may use the parking garage across the street by Potbelly Sandwich Shop, for which we validate.

From start to finish the office was very professional and pleasant. Dr. Kim is extremely knowledgeable and it's very apparent that he loves what he does. His staff is great and helpful. If you have any fears of going to the dentist or want expertise work this is the office for you. I highly recommend Ballston Dental Arts.

I had my second cleaning at Ballston dental arts today. And once again I experienced truly excellent care at every level. Dr Kim is knowledgeable and personable, hygienist Jessica is the best I've had--gentle but really thorough and personable. My teeth have never felt so clean. All is state of the art. Also the front desk staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. I'm so happy to have found this practice. I highly recommend!

I've been a patient of Dr. Duke Kim for about 10 years, and would never (voluntarily) seek out a new dentist. The practice is wonderful: thorough, friendly, efficient, extremely professional and knowledgeable. Any dental work I've had performed by Dr. Kim has been well explained and well performed. I trust him, and his staff, implicitly!

I have been coming to Ballston Dental for over a decade and the service and team are consistently exceptional. Dr. Kim is the only dentist I'll ever see, he is straight forward with his recommendations, gentle and reassuring with his approach. I had extensive full month reconstruction in 2011 which was initially very scary but when I say I had minimal discomfort it is 100% true. Only the best Hygienist grace this office. If you are apprehensive about going to dentist this is the place for you as the pain management is bar none the absolute best. I actually look forward to my quarterly cleaning appointment says no one ever about their dentist appointments. No matter the locale from Costa Rica, Cuba Greece or local event my smile is always camera ready. Whatever your dental need big or small look no further. Cheryl

Absolutely superior dental care. Brilliant dentist with outstanding credentials. Great emphasis on education. Staff well qualified, organized, and communicate well. Facilities immaculate and with the latest technology. Wait time to get an appointment perfectly reasonable. Always perfect care. Two noteworthy points. In the past I have always needed Nitrous Oxide for major dental work. In all the many dental procedures I've had with Dr. Kim, I never needed anything more than Novocaine. This includes pulling off 25 year in place caps for replacement. Incredible. Second point. I noticed some comments about price and as someone who works in health care and also checks every credentials and database for all clinicians I use, Dr. Kim's prices are within $50 of the typical rate among providers. Dentistry is just expensive and doesn't have much to offer by insurers. Absolutely all best practices are being used during COVID pandemic including peroxide mouth rinse and double masking. Way to go!!!!

Dr. Duke H. Kim, DDS, MAGD is an accomplished Dental Artist. He made 2 dentures (upper&lower) for me. He takes such a pain to make sure the fitting is right. The dentalpart he creats are such beuties that I like to string them with gold or silver chains to ware them as accesories.

The offices are very clean and inviting. The hygienist is quite gentle, thorough with her cleaning, and most positive and encouraging with her comments. I even met another dental assistant in another practice who commented on the pleasantness of the hygienist at Ballston Dental Arts.

Dr. Kim of Ballston Dental Arts have been my dentist for more than a decade now! My kids were very little then and now they are all young adults and patients of Dr. Kim. His dental office is very clean and everyone is very pleasant and very professional, especially Dr. Kim. The technologies they use are state of the art. I always get compliments how clean, nice and white my teeth are. I all owe it to the care of Dr. Kim and his team! My entire family is very pleased with the care we receive from Dr. Kim and his team.

Duke H. Kim, DDS, MAGD, and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Kim listens to the concerns of his patients and is very adept at putting a patient at ease. He has implemented outstanding safety measures which effectively address the impact COVID 19 has had on our society. I have been going to Dr. Kim's office for over 20 years. And for many years I was wishing (and saving :) ) to get my front teeth straighten with veneers. Dr Joseph Khawand pulled my wisdom tooth and I didn't feel a thing. He did such an amazing job and has such an amazing bedside manner. Would highly recommend him and this practice. The staff was also so great and super helpful through the whole process.
