Dr. Kerry Streiff graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology & Geology from Whitman College in lovely Walla Walla, Washington. After working in the wine industry, she returned to school and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Washington. Dr. Streiff enjoys the integration of artistry and science that dentistry provides and is committed to caring for people first and foremost. She loves to meet new people and share her passion for outdoor activities, traveling, cooking, and wine.
Dr. Streiff is very involved in local and international service efforts and believes it is very important to give back to communities in need. In addition to volunteering with Medical Teams International, Union Gospel Mission, and the Special Olympics, Doctor. Streiff returns to Guatemala each year with her father and a group called Nuevas Sonrisas (New Smiles) to work with local children.
I always knew I wanted to be in the health professions growing up. Helping people was always gratifying and I felt compelled to dedicate my skills in serving peoples needs. It was not until my third year in college where I fell in love with dentistry. This amazing career allows me to blend art and science together, and ultimately care for people in a comfortable and relaxed environment. It is a great pleasure to be able to utilize my skills and knowledge to help educate people on how to keep their smiles healthy. I was fortunate enough to receive a doctorate degree at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. I also enjoy giving back to my community through local volunteer efforts like mobile dental vans and I annually participate in providing free dental work in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Sadly, I have to change my review to a single star. Please avoid this dentistry at all costs. Please do not get tricked by the 4.9 star google rating as I did. Essentially I had cavities filled here and the dentist messed up the procedure resulting in extreme tooth pain that was not previously present. After multiple follow up visits with no remedy, I was told that I had to get a root canal. After going to the endodontist, I was told I could actually get this resolved by re-doing the cavity. I went to another dentist and they easily resolved the tooth issue by refilling the cavity. If I followed Ballad Dentistry's advice, I would've spent 2-3k on an unnecessary and painful root canal. Sadly, it doesn't stop here. Both my girlfriend and I were quoted at around $200 each for our cavity fillings. They stated our insurance had signed off on the quotes. After the procedures, they tried to say our insurance didn't end up covering as much as expected and tried to charge us $700 each. I had to spend countless hours on the phone with my insurance and the billing team at Ballard dentistry and figured out that my insurance was never actually contacted about the cavity quote. While the billing specialist at Ballard dentistry assured me she had contacted my insurance, I found out that was a straight up lie. I guess they had changed billing specialists right around the time I was seen and the new specialist tried to cover up for the mistakes the previous one made. After having to waste a lot of time figuring all of this out, Ballard dentistry finally admitted they made a mistake and agreed to wave some of my total bill. However, they pressured my girlfriend into paying the whole $700 and did not come clean to her. Moral of the story, PLEASE avoid this business at all costs.. they made multiple dentistry and billing mistakes and tried to cover their tracks before finally getting caught in a lie. Absolute joke of a company. I wish I was making this up. I hope nobody else has to deal with not only the pain I endured for months but also the hassle of spending countless hours on the phone with the dentistry when they are 100% in the wrong.

This dentist is the best I have been to. They always give me fluoride after each appointment, they educate me, and they always take the time to do very thorough cleanings. I had a chip on the front surface of my tooth that dentists always looked over but this dentist was the first to offer to fill it if I wanted. They give you options and explain everything so well. They even made a new retainer for me when I lost mine. They are affordable, transparent, and do an A+ job. My sister is a very picky dental hygienist and even she says they are excellent!!

Dr. Streiff is very caring and thorough, and certainly listens to her patients' needs in great detail prior to prescribing any procedures. The staff is great as well, and I am happy to have found such a great dental facility in the area.

My experience was fine. My dentist was very good. Can't remember her name - she was working on a Friday when Ballard Dentistry has limited appointments. It was great for me.

I was having a tooth emergency and they were able to fit me in, Dr Cha took time to explain what was wrong , what my options were and gave me 3 referrals for the next step. She gave me some helpful ideas about mouth guards.There was no judgement, they were gentle and very helpful.

Great office located directly in downtown Ballard! The front desk staff makes you feel right at home immediately when you walk in the door. Everything was on time and it was an extremely professionally run office. This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team was very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. I came in for a cleaning but explained I had sensitivity on a a couple of teeth. I was thrilled Hillary (Hygienist) and Dr. Kerry were able to fix those bothersome teeth right away:) They did a great job, I felt that I was in good hands. All the people here were very gentle and kind to me. They explained very well what was going on. Thanks to Dr. Kerry and her expertise!

Dr. Streiff is a very warm, friendly person and a great dentist. She is very ethical and not aggressive like some of my previous dentists. I drive at least 45 minutes just to see her, because I trust her. And she is absolutely worth it. Hilary, her dental hygienist is wonderful too. She is great at what she does and very nice. These 2 make the whole scary process of dentistry pleasant.
