Dr. Amy Carrico grew up in Mattydale NY, and received her Bachelor in Science in Physical Anthropology from the College of Charleston in SC. She received her Masters in Forensic Anthropology from the University of South Carolina and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina, School of Dental Medicine in Charleston.
She practiced in Columbia South Carolina and in Syracuse NY, where she now lives with her husband and their three little dogs. Amy is an animal lover and Anglophile, and loves watching British television, especially murder mysteries.

I used to love this dentist office. It has really gone down hill since scandal with their office manager. When I previously called to reschedule a visit the secretary was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I finished my appointment. No one would come to the desk to reschedule my appointment. I said excuse me multiple times and ended up leaving. I called to reschedule and they were unable to get me in for an appointment because of COVID. I then called again and they said they have no availability to see me for a year. I will have to find a new office. When I first started going, I never had any issues getting in for appointments. I am not sure what has changed. It's especially disappointing because I have referred at least 5 people to this practice.

As most people I never enjoyed going to the dentist, the staff at Baldwinsville Family Dental have certainly changed that. Everyone is very professional but welcoming too. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Baldwinsville Family Dental is the best! So caring and friendly. I am anxious about going to the dentist and they make the visit pain and anxiety free!! Love it! Becky is the best hygienist ever!

Broke a tooth right before a long holiday. They made arrangements for me to come in ASAP for an evaluation and did the procedure quickly and expertly, the first day open. Thank you to a wonderful team of caring and professional individuals. Gave me terrific peace of mind the entire process.

I am very excited & looking forward to my next visit! I have a great fear of dentist & have avoided them for years... this office welcomed me with open arms even with all my medical issues!! They made me feel like a great burden was lifted when I left. I can't say enough, amazing group of people who make you feel like family!! Thank you so much to you all!

My son is special needs and doesn't like needles and gets so much anxiety at the thought of them !! Dr Carrillo made him feel so comfortable at our consult and explained that he will be getting nitro and wouldn't realize what's being done !! I'm so very happy that I went with the Baldwinsville Family Dentistry group !!! Explanation of everything being done and what insurance covers was great !!

I was extremely impressed with my first visit to this office! The staff was very friendly and attentive. I was taken in a couple minutes "before" my scheduled appointment which I appreciated as well. I need to have several procedures done and they presented me with a full itemized treatment plan which included all the necessary work to be done, the amount that my insurances would cover and the amount of out of pocket expense for the the entire treatment plan. State of the art equipment, super clean and neat!

I have always had great care at BFD. Allie is a wonderful hygienist who always makes me feel comfortable. Dr. Carrico is also amazing and truly caring. No one ever looks forward to a dental appointment, but I can truly say I don't ever feel nervous or dreadful walking through their door. The evening hours are a huge bonus with my demanding schedule!

Everyone is always very friendly at Baldwinsville Family Dental. They also do great work. My only complaint is that they tend to be very busy, they were booking out 8 months the last time I was there.

Emily is a great hygienist who is professional and personable. She did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. I would have left a 5 star except the facility is overbooked - you cannot get 2 cleanings a year, 8 months out if you want a cleaning.

The entire team is wonderful. Going to the dentist used to be an awful experience for me but Baldwinsville Family Dental has worked with me to make it better. If you dread going to the dentist, check them out! They will help!

I just love Baldwinsville Family Dental. This morning I came in to do a regular cleaning before I had a meeting at work. I forgot that I had also scheduled a back-to-back session at BFD to fix a chipped tooth as well. I was most worried about getting to my work meeting. I seriously felt like a prima donna and I felt so bad asking them to try to either reschedule one part or try to fit everything in. The folks at BFD went out of their way to prioritize me and were able to do both my chipped tooth and my cleaning all in about 45 minutes. I really appreciated it. Thanks BFD.
