I'm not one to give glowing reviews, I normally expect good service where I go, however I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Balboa Dental Group in Granada Hills. The staff was super friendly from the moment I walked in. I'm always a bit nervous as I go to the dentist, but they really put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. It felt like they were actually happy to work there, which is something rare these days. The waiting room was so clean, which is always a good sign, but I didn't have to wait long as they got me in pretty quickly. The patient room was also clean, and everything felt really new and updated, as you can see in the picture. They even had this state of the art machine for crowns, hadn't seen anything like this at my old dental office. The dental hygienist was really nice and helpful as she prepped me for Dr Ekizian, who was just awesome! Dr. Ekizian patiently listened to my issue and explained everything she was about to do, which really alleviated my fears. She was very gentle and I didn't feel like I was being poked, prodded or tugged at like previous dentists at other offices. I'm so glad I was referred to this friendly neighborhood dentist with all the latest amenities and I'd like to pay it forward by referring the Balboa Dental Group, in Granada Hills, to you.

Balboa Dental Group and its Leader, Dr. Ekizian, are simply the best. Her team is amazing, smiles always, laughter and a genuinely positive energy flows through the office. Dr. E is so caring, gentle and you can tell she loves what she does. I wish I could go in more often, who can say that about their Denstist?? :o)

During COVID my last dentist sadly closed so I had to look for a new one. I searched online in my area and came cross Balboa Dental Group. The photos and reviews convinced me to make an appointment although the negative reviews concerned me a little bit. I booked an appointment with Dr. Ekizian as she seems to be the main doctor with incredible reviews. I walked in and was greeted with several cheerful "hellos", what a friendly start. Everything is electronic, i did my medical records beforehand on my phone and the check in process was quick and easy. I waited a few minutes and when i was taken back. The technician Rosa was just as friendly as the front team. I felt comfortable. Then came the next wow. The x-ray equipment is brand new and nothing I have ever seen before. Rosa explained to me a 3D scan of my teeth and head will be taken so the doctor can evaluate all structures. The process was quick and easy as well. I was brought to my room and after a little while Dr. Ekizian greeted me. The genuine smile in her eyes showed how big the smile of her face must have been, the mask was hiding it, sadly. During the following 20 minutes I had an examination, explanation and review of my health in connection to my body like I have never had before. I think I learned more about overall well being and health than I have with my regular doctor who asks me a few questions and takes my blood. Dr. Ekizian is incredibly knowledgeable, so easy going and engaging, professional and the most gentle dentist I have ever had. She reviewed my 3D scan and explained to me all the structures of my head and neck and how the teeth are related to them. I was blown away. During the exam she gave me a heads up of everything she was about to do and why. The dental explanations that followed were thorough and Dr. Ekizian has a way to make you understand. She found a couple things that she stated will require attention in the future but will monitor them for now. My last dentist told me about those as well and had been pushing me to do it but I had no pain so I never did. With Dr. Ekizian's explanations I understand now why I do not feel pain but also understand why the treatment has to be done regardless at one point in the near future. I could go on and one but as it is this is a veeery long review already. But I felt like I had to write it. This was simply an incredible experience, Dr. Ekizian earned my trust, I will be back and tell my family and friends. The team is young, friendly and helpful. Thank you!

I always feel great getting to her office and leaving her office as she makes the process easy. The entire staff is great. You can see why with a leader such as Dr. Ekizian. I went in for my dental cleaning appointment last week, and as usual it went great! Dr. Sargent is very attentive and patient with my dental anxiety. The whole staff is cheerful and I was even shown their new equipment after I shared that I was currently in dental hygiene school. It was definitely motivating to see. I have been going here for the past five years and come here happily because I know I am in good hands with my dental needs. Dr. Ekizian is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. She takes her time to explain everything and her work is superb. Her staff is just as good and always greet you with a smile. In a nutshell if you need a dentist, I would only recommend Dr. Ekizian.

This place is amazing, after 2 dentist in the city of Downey all they wanted was money! I was looking for the right place with payment plan and have a personal connection with them . I found balboa dental group here on google over a year ago . Ever since Amazing staff Ramina is sweet and very helpful. But Sol is over the top assisting me and answering all my questions. She made me feel at home and very informative. In the process of Over a year I need some work done after my braces come off . I was able To apply for credit with smile generation with them and was impressed by the no interest for 12 months and I got A Good amount in credit instantly .. hight recomendable.

The 5 stars are for Sol! She did a fantastic job whitening my teeth! I hadn't whitened them in over 15 years because I had a terrible experience & I was very nervous. However, Sol took her time to explain what she was doing & took extra precautions to make sure my gums didn't burn & I was elated with the results! My teeth tingled a little bit the day of, as expected, but I was thrilled with the results. If considering getting your teeth whitened, ask for Sol!

Beautiful office with nee Equipment. But that is the only positive thing I can say about this office. look at the negative on yelp and hear your notice the same issues being reported. Constant upsell and making you fearful of us can you purchase additional services that they are recommending. if you stick to your guns in just want the services that you came in for they will get rude I continue to pressure you to upsell you. additionally they have like the worst time for boarding my insurance and did not want to take the negotiated rate, again they were trying to get more money out of pocket for me and services that I know were covered and what the cost was. this happened multiple times in my wife. Even prior to going up appointment I had already called insurance company and got the information of what was covered and what it cost. again they tried to tell me something different and request more money and more services to be rendered that were not needed. if you look at the bad reviews in this business you will see this is a common practice. It is sad but once you're in the chair the staff they will try to scare you into additional services that are not necessary. They do it in a systematic way where you don't even get to speak to the dentist for somebody else comes in it's very little experience as a script on services are not necessary. when you stick to your guns and refuse to buy additional services ugly It's a shame because one of the dentist who actually owns the practice is very pleasant individual however she is aware of what's going on and probably the Rex employees to act this way to grease the bottom line. I believe this to be true I went to try to discuss it with her as the owner not available to speak to me and not return my call. obviously when you were here all the bad reviews here for this business you can only come to one conclusion, but this is on my email that they need to upsell to pay for their nice office and equipment and to increase the profit. if that wasn't the case when you speak to a manager there or the owner of the company they would show some concern. Instead they ignore all the bad words here and help with meals are doing what they're doing on purpose. There were some good stay after at one time but they won't get fired, with a deceptive practices to go to Currie they're selling people at a time where they're at either nine, or put on the spot to make decisions based upon the people they are trusting and not knowing that it's a total sell for profit and not for the customers best interest. I would highly recommend rather than taking my word for this review all the bad reviews and seen the common thread and then make your own decision. for me and my family, we will no longer go to his dental office and we will no longer recommend our friends and neighbors to this dental office.

Always tried to upsell on things that I didn't need, like a mouthguard for 600 dollars, but couldn't properly fill a cavity. After coming in for the second time due to the discomfort, I was given attitude and told there is nothing they can do. This place is not professional and only wants your money. Finally had to find another dentist to fix their mistake. Dont believe the 5 star reviews as they are most likely fake.
