At Balanced Dental, we believe that a doctor and patient become a team for treating an individuals dentistry needs. Our staff spends most of their time listening to and understanding your concerns, and responding with the best treatment options for you. With the help of our professional staff, they also follow up to make sure that pain is relieved, problems are resolved and your overall health improves.
DOCTOR Dr. Jackson was raised in Fort Lauderdale where his love for dentistry began by spending time in his fathers dental practice. He went on to study biology at Stetson University in Deland, Florida, where he met his wife Kelli and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Jackson then went on to attended Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine, where he was accepted as part of the Prosthodontic Honors Program and graduated with his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Upon completion of his doctorate, he continued his education and training by completing the general practice residency program at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. Dr. Jackson obtained invaluable experience during his time at the VA, which shaped him into the well rounded, compassionate practitioner he is today. He has also spent time offering his services to underserved communities here locally at the Christian Care Community Center and abroad at an orphanage in Baja, Mexico.
Dr. Jackson is a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, Atlantic Coast Conference, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. As well as being a S.M.A.R.T Certified dentist.
At Balanced Dental, Dr. Jackson believes in developing relationships with his patients which allow him provide comprehensive care tailored to fit into the lives his patients. His experience in general dentistry, including fixed and removable prosthodontics, dental implants, endodontics, extensive oral surgery and periodontal surgery allows him to offer a full range of restorative and preventative treatments to you and your family, all under one roof.
Outside of work Dr. Jackson loves to spend time with his wife Kelli, their three children. He also enjoys taking advantage of the recreational pursuits our area is known for: golfing, surfing and fishing.
DENTAL ASSISITANT Jackie was born and raised in Okeechobee, FL. She has a very calm and caring demeanor, and always has the patients best interest at heart. She helps Dr. Jackson chair side to provide outstanding patient care and make sure our patients are comfortable. She is dedicated worker and always willing to lend a hand.

When we moved here from out of state I was dreading looking for a dentist because we had many terrible experiences. I loved that Balanced Dental has an integrative approach to dentistry; there wasn't a thousand questions about if I'm giving my children fluoride or not, and they respect me as a decision making advocate for my children. They have been very patient with my son who has a very sensitive gag reflex and has had traumatizing dental experiences. Not to mention, I can honestly say that the cleanings are top notch! I am confident in Balanced Dental and recommend my friends to see Dr. Jackson and staff.

They never confirmed our insurance and saw us for an entire year. Then sent us a non itemized bill for thousands of dollars. Literally just a paper with their letterhead and an amount due. Nothing that told us what we were paying for. When I called the girl at the front said she would look into it. Called me back with a new total of a few hundred dollars, again not telling me what we were paying for, and said that's all we had to pay because it was part their fault and part my fault (even though it was all their fault). It's been 2 years since then and they still send me non itemized bills in the mail. Ridiculously unprofessional circus they have going on over there

Dr. Jackson and his team are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Our children have seen Dr. Jackson for a variety of reasons over the years and he always makes them feel comfortable and puts their nerves at ease.

Dr. Jackson and his staff are true professionals and extremely knowledgeable, and a credit to their profession. I love the balanced approach to my family's dental health and trust them entirely. When my 9 year old son had an extremely painful dental emergency, Dr. Jackson was quick to respond, wonderful in his calming approach and had an awesome ability to assess the issue and help him without incident. That says a lot! Highly, highly recommend.

I have seen Dr. Jackson for years and can highly recommend his work and that of his office. I made the mistake of going to another Dentist who happened to be closer and then ended up making the hour drive to see Dr. Jackson to fix the other dentist's work. Nothing but positive experiences with this office!

Balanced dental is hands down the BEST when it comes to professionalism, cleanliness, accuracy, punctuality, and overall providing an excellent experience! I have been here a few times for dental needs and always have a pleasant visit. The staff is super nice and they even followed up after my first visit with a lovely card sent to my home. Dr. Jackson is truly a nice guy and keeps it real (who really flosses everyday?). Going back soon for a cleaning and already know it's going to be a smooth visit. If you need your teeth taken care of this is definitely the place to be!

We have been looking for the perfect dental practice for our whole family. From the moment we entered the office we were greeted by kind and caring staff. Today was our son's first dental cleaning, age 4, and it was everything we hoped for. Dr. Jackson was so gentle and calm and Shauna spent a lot of time explaining the tools that she was using and making sure he was comfortable the entire cleaning. He is not afraid of going to the dentist now and that is how it is supposed to be. I highly recommend Balanced Dental.
