Dr. Ryan Baker was born and raised in San Diego, California. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology from the University of California, San Diego. He attended dental school at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ASDOH) in Mesa, Arizona, where he received both his Doctor of Dental Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees.
While in dental school, Dr. Baker was involved with numerous collegiate activities. He served as class president, president of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity (Alpha Zeta Chapter) and president of the ASDOH Pediatric Dental Club.
After dental school, Dr. Baker completed a two-year post-doctoral residency at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California, to specialize in pediatric dentistry. Upon completion of the program, he was awarded a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry as well as a Master of Science degree in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Baker was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society, which is considered one of the highest honors attainable within the dental profession with only the top 10% of the graduating class being chosen for induction.
Dr. Baker is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Society, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, San Diego County Dental Association, and the Tri-County Dental Society. He is also board certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Rashid Kamdar is a native of Orange County who graduated from Fountain Valley High School. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine, graduating with top honors and magna cum laude. He then moved to Los Angeles to start his dental career by attending UCLA dental school with a Regents Scholarship. After graduating at the top of his class with a degree of dental surgery (DDS), he wanted to further develop his esthetic skills and moved to New York to attend a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. He then completed his orthodontic specialty training at the UNLV School of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He speaks Spanish as well, and we feel very fortunate that Dr. Kamdar is joining our team.
Being a Premier Invisalign provider, and having received training using proven state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Kamdar has also successfully completed the first two stages of board certification. With his thorough background he understands the importance of a healthy and attractive smile. Dr. Kamdar is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and all of their constituent societies.

Once again Baker's Pediatric gave my son a great experience. Dr. Patterson and Ruth were so attentive and walked my son through everything. Any questions he had they also answered. I'm very thankful they made the environment so comfortable for him.

I really really like this office, the staff is great and organized. The office setting is perfect, the exam room is enclosed away from the lobby which to me and the patients (Kids) is perfect, that way there is no unnecessary anxiousness or kids being afraid to go in. My daughter was treated here and had the best experience. I thank the Staff at Baker pediatric dentistry we will see you guys in December of this year

My son has gone here his whole life & he is now 6. I would recommend them for your kids dental needs ! Dr.O & Dr. Rosey especially, wouldn't let the other dentists but them because they work so well with your child ! All the staff is amazing as well. Still continuing to take my child there .
