Dr. David Baker earned his doctorate at OHSU School of Dentistry in 2003 and completed his orthodontic residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC in 2005. He then continued his training with one of the world's foremost orthodontic clinicians, Dr. Larry Andrews.
Dr. Baker not only learned directly from Dr. Andrews since 2003, he was invited and spoke on the Six Elements of Oro-Facial Harmony at the American Association of Orthodontists annual meeting in Hawaii in 2012.
The 6Elements is an innovative philosophy of orthodontic treatment, discovered by Dr. Larry Andrews, that creates harmony and balance between your teeth, jaws, airway, and face. What this means for you is that Dr. Baker not only straightens your teeth and corrects your bite, but he also knows how your jaws should be positioned for improved health, comfort, and aesthetics. He really understands the tough cases and how to work with kids who have cleft lip/cleft palate and craniofacial deformities as well. This is one of many reasons why, in addition to private practice, he has been the consulting orthodontist for the Portland Shriner's Hospital Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Team since 2005.
Dr. Baker also uses the Six Elements to diagnose and help treat concerns such as a gummy smile, deficient chin,protruding chin, overbite, under bite, anarrow smile, and creates very pleasing aesthetic, optimal long term healthresults for patients.

Dr. Baker is happily married to his wife,Dawnelle, and they live in Camas,Washington.In his spare time Dr. Baker lovesto spend time with his wifeand theirfive daughters, Lynnden, Makenna, Lucy, Caydence, and Samantha.He also enjoyswake surfing, golfing,riding bikes, and fun hikes with their dog Bella.

Dr. Baker and I have five daughters ranging in age from three to fifteen years old. We also have a dog, a schnoodle named Bella. I look forward to snowboarding in the winter and wake surfing in the summer with my family.
Kyli has worked in Orthodontics for over 4 years nows and absolutely loves it! As our office manager, the most rewarding part of her job is to ensure the best possible experience for all patients. Building relationships with the patients and parents is also very important to her, as we see our patients like family.
Celysha has been in the Ortho world for over 11 years! She also is a licensed cosmetologist and has been for over 10 years. Her passion to make people feel beautiful has led her to love two completely different fields of work. She is married to her husband, Josh, and has two beautiful daughters, Brooklynn & Londyn. They recently welcomed a new miniature longhaired dachshund to their family and they are absolutely in love with him! They enjoy taking family trips and love the beauty of the PNW.
Rachael has been in dentistryfor five years and this is her first year in orthodontics! She is married to her husband Eric. She loves to travel, camp, and backpack camp as well as fishingand boating. Fun fact She has eight tattoos! ask her about them sometime!

If you are looking for an excellent job, amazing experience, professional and friendly staff, this is the place where you should get your treatment at. My case was a complicated one that involved jaw movements. Dr. Baker walked me through the best options, listened to my desires and partnered with me to get my smile the way I wanted. I love my new smile!!!!

Dr. Baker and his staffs are the friendliest people I have ever met. Not only are they friendly, but they are also extremely professional as well! Over the two years that I had my braces on, they made sure that my braces fit comfortably(which they did!) And that my end result would look amazing(they did that too!)

I am about halfway through my Invisalign, and I am very pleased with Dr. Baker. His staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Baker listens to your questions and concerns attentively and takes time to explain. He is someone you want to trust with a long-time asset like your teeth. I will post when I am all done. The experience so far exceeds my expectations.

This place has plenty of private parking but it shares its parking lot with other businesses. The office is on the second floor. I always come by appointment. The wait is never long when I come. They do not get bent out of shape if I am a little late. The staff is wonderful. They also have a TV playing Netflix in the waiting room. They have bottled water and toothbrush for those waiting. Great!

Dr. Baker and his staff are very professional, friendly and fun. Both of my teens are patients who have had palette expanders and braces. My daughter's braces came off this week and she is delighted with the results. Their front office staff are friendly and helpful. We felt as if we understood the expectations of the process from start to finish. It was easy to make and change appointments. My daughter would recommend Dr. Baker to all of her friends.

My son has sensory issues and would do almost anything to remove the wires from his braces. Dr Baker and his office always made the effort to see him in a timely manner even if it were on a weekly basis. With a lot of perseverance, my son's teeth were eventually straightened out.

It's been a roller coaster ride the last year and a half and my braces are finally off. Half way through my treatment, I had an accident right before my jaw surgery that knocked out a few of my teeth. Had it not been for Dr. Baker, I would've been lost in the chaos with all the different specialists I needed to see and coordinate with. With this accident happening, my standard orthodontic treatment became a more complicated case and the amount of care and empathy really showed through with Dr. Baker and his team so I owe them the world. From my experience, Dr. Baker shows that he looks at every case individually and understands from a holistic point of view what would be the best outcome. His passion and knowledge shows that he really cares about the overall functionality of someone's bite but also the overall balance between your jaw, teeth, and face. As far as the staff and office goes, all my appointments have been very timely and everyone I've interacted with are so kind and patient. If you're looking for quality orthodontic treatment from a TRUE specialist, then look no further because I know that Dr. Baker is going to be the best.
