Dr. Reem S. Shafi, CEO, Two Rivers Dental is the epitome of modern dentistry. She received her dental degree in 1998 and is a proud alumna of the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. After her graduation, she relocated to Chicago, IL and opened her first dental practice by 2004. During that year of running her own practice, Dr. Shafi realized she had much more potential and decided to open a second practice. Now, a decade later, Dr. Shafi owns several practices, all of which are located in and around the Chicago area. Her company now employs over 140 employees and 30 dentists.
During the course of her professional career, Dr. Shafi has won numerous awards including her induction into Temple University Fox School of business League for Entrepreneurial Women Hall of Fame for the year 2013.
Hello! My name is Dr. Qingshan Li. I am an orthodontist with over 28 years of global experience in dentistry. I began my career in China, and then I practiced in Germany before moving to the United States. I completed a PhD in dentistry, as well as postgraduate training in restorative dentistry at the University of Kiel in Kiel, Germany. While at university, I also received my specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. I then relocated to the U.S. to become an Orthodontic Resident at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health (University of Rochester Medical Center) in Rochester, New York. I now live in Chicago, where I treat patients in multiple office locations. My dedication to this profession isnt limited to treating patients, however. I am proud to be involved in research and the continuous innovation of orthodontics. My research has been published in reputable journals, and Ive presented at domestic and international seminars on orthodontics. These seminars complement my efforts to research and incorporate the latest technology into my practice. I enjoy teaching and passing on my knowledge and expertise to the next generation of orthodontists at the Chicago campus of the University of Illinois (UIC).

I know it sounds like Im juggling a lot between creating amazing smiles in my orthodontic practice, researching new treatment methods and technology, and teaching the next generation of orthodontists but I do have down time. I enjoy swimming, travelling and photography, but the most important thing to me is spending time with my wife, Dr. Bin Yang, and daughter.
Dr. Peterson specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and treats a wide variety of patients of all ages. He has been placing dental implants since 1987, has extensive experience in implantology, and has successfully treated many dental implant patients throughout Chicagoland.
Dr. Peterson graduated with a degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School. He furthered his training and education through a program focused in Anesthesiology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cook County Hospital College of Surgery.
Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His hobbies include traveling, tennis, skiing and the outdoors. Dr. Peterson also practices law and teaches at a university.

Long wait time only to be seen for only a few moments by dentist who was clearly distracted. Went in for a regular cleaning and barely had that done, quick check over, not soft or considerate. Front end staff very helpful but won't be returning.

They were good at getting me in fir an emergency dental visit but I waited for over an hour, assistant wasn't knowledgeable, they were crowded with patients and told me I needed root canal and that my insurance won't cover.. they checked my insurance before i came in and didn't disclose this!!! I went to my usual dentist and she said I did not need a root canal. Glad I didn't let them doing any procedures!! What a waste of time!!

Friendly and professional staff all around, whether front desk (Anjali), assistant (Arleen), or doctor (Samra). Efficient work (x-rays and biannual cleaning), and thorough explanations of future suggested work and cost estimates. I've been coming here for years and plan to continue to do so!

I have been to a lot of dental offices in my 76 years and this is definitely one of the better ones. All the members of the staff were very cordial. The dentist and his assistants made the extra effort to make me comfortable, and the dentist was very thorough in his explanations, as well as extremely professional in his work. I saw a number of negative reviews before I went, but, when I took my grandchildren there for their checkups, I was quite impressed with the whole operation, so made my appointment that day. Keep up the good work.

Had a bad feeling when I walked in the door. Without giving too much detail was very dissatisfied. There was a lot of miscommunication and half-truths. It's got a third world vibe better off going to a professional to get your work done correctly. Trust your instincts.

I am a new patient here, I chose this place because of the good ratings and my previous dentist i have been going to for 14 years was no longer doing a good job, everything was half a**ed. At first, Baker Hill dental would reassure me that i won't have to go back to my old dentist anymore because they will take care of my teeth. One of my molars desperately needed recrowning, I got my temporary one, and Baker Hill started becoming half a**ed as well. At first my schedule was rescheduled then it snowed one day and i got a call saying they have to cancel. Few weeks go by, my temp recrown bleeding and still havent got a call from Baker Hill. I come to their office and they tell me they cant help me since only the dr that performed my crown is the only one who knows my condition...and also they told me that dr is not coming back in Glen Ellyn Office. I'm angry because when was i going to know about the doctor not coming back? if i didnt call back and come to Glen Ellyn office, i probably would have my temp crown for another month or so. They're doing me like how my old dentist did my teeth for 14 years. It's sad. Excited to take my hard earned money away but when it comes to fixing my teeth, it always have to wait a long time.

I must say this is the best dental office I have ever been to! The focus, care and dedication from the staff is unmatched to any dental experience I've ever had. The staff and doctors were very friendly and skilled. Special acknowledgement to Ashley, she walked me through the financial bits very clearly and I left without ambiguity of what to expect. Dr. Aladdin also did a great job of making sure I understood his recommendations along with my treatment. However, the facility was a little off-putting. Paint was chipping off the walls, the furniture was a little rickety... Not what I experienced to be a comfortable environment compared to other dental offices. I'll continue to get my treatment there, as the staff made me feel comfortable.

As usual the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My son said the doctor always makes him feel comfortable, explains what he is doing and answers any questions he has. I feel confident taking my family to Baker's Hill Dental knowing we are being well cared for.
