The staff at Baker Family Dentistry is comprised of dentists, dental hygienists, and more with a total of over 75 years of experience in the dental industry. Whether its a simple teeth cleaning or more advanced dental surgery our staff have the training, knowledge and skill to make sure you receive the best dental care possible.
Dr. Fred graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1972. His class was the second class to graduate since the school was formed. His undergraduate training was at the University of South Carolina where he graduated with a BS degree in Pharmacy. At USC he was inducted into RhoChi, the honorary fraternity of the Pharmacy School. As a pharmacist, Dr. Baker still finds time to help out in the practice.
Being retired gives Dr. Baker time for his hobbies. He enjoys exercising at the gym and walking with his wife, Ann, who was his high school sweetheart, and in the spring, they enjoy traveling. You may have noticed his paintings in the office, these are the results of his other hobby; taking art classes at USCA.
Stephen J. Baker, DMD, graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with a Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry in 2003. He attended The Citadel The Military College of South Carolina for his undergraduate studies where he graduated with a B.S. Dr. Baker grew up in Aiken and has been surrounded by dentistry his entire life, thanks to his father, Dr. Fred L. Baker, a highly regarded dentist who set up his practice in 1972 out of dental school. Baker Family Dentistry was established in 2003 when they began a family dental practice.

Kerry has been happily married to her husband Steve since 1984 and shares his love for their pet children. She enjoys traveling and experiencing new adventures as well as spending time with her family and friends.

I have been a patient here for many years and I always get excellent care. Everyone is so friendly and professional and wants my experience to be as pain free and pleasant as possible. That really shows each time I visit. I couldn't recommend them more than I do!

From receptionist, dental hygienist, dentist to the payment desk everyone at Baker Family Dentistry makes me feel like I'm part of the "family". They are patient, explain procedures, make suggestions on how to improve my dental care if needed and provide samples of specific products to help care for my bridge.

Dr. Stephen Baker is the worst dentist in Aiken.....went in to have a simple cavity filled and had previously told him I had no interest in taking old fillings out and when he filled small cavity he took it upon himself to take out 2 of my older fillings and pulp cap them....I have been in pain every since and ended up having to have both teeth pulled that he pulp capped...he pulled one of the teeth himself and gave me permanent nerve damage.....I am way to young to be having to pull teeth....I am now going to have to see a neurologist and fear that I will have mouth pain for the rest of my life....I thought dentist was supposed to save your teeth not cause you to loose them and be in permanent pain...It has been almost two years and thousands of dollars later and I am still hurting...I would not recommend this dentist to anybody....If I could give a zero star I would.....and to your reply....my name is Dana Barton....u definitely have records of me there...the name on my review is incorrect
