Lasers have changed the way we do surgeries. With laser technology, we can avoid the use of a scalpel. This will improve the outcome of the surgery and also reduce discomfort during the procedure. Lasers can also be used in conjunction with your deep cleaning to decontaminate the area underneath your gums and kill all the bacteria. In deep pockets, cleaning alone is usually not sufficient to remove all the disease, but with laser therapy we can ensure you leave our office with all the disease removed from your oral tissues. Dr. Bak is specialized in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. In addition to completing his DDS degree, he was awarded his PhD from the Florida State Universitywhere his work focused on Bone Biology. He then completed his subspecialty training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC). He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry and currently serves as Director of Biomedical Implants and Tissue Engineering (BITE) program at the School of Dentistry at USC.
Dr. Bak has published extensively in the area of bone graft and tissue engineering. He is a member of several professional organizations such as the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration. He is regarded by colleagues as an expert authority in advanced periodontology and has been published in numerous dentistry journals, and is regularly invited to present his findings at symposiums and presentations across the globe. You can rest easy knowing Dr. Bak understands the complexities of dentistry and will provide you with nothing short of best-in-practice care. He has incorporated state-of-the-art technology into his practice, including 3D CT imaging and laser technology to treat a variety of dental conditions.
Your anesthesia care will be provided by Dr. Bankie, a board-certified Dental Anesthesiologist, who has dedicated her practice to the delivery of anesthesia and sedation services utilized during dental care. Dr. Bankie is a Diplomate of American Dental Board of Anesthesiology. This credential is the highest level of anesthesia training that can be achieved in dentistry. She actively holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Bankies career in the dental health profession started in 1993 when she obtained her bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from University of Southern California. She advanced her education and attained a DDS from USC. She then continued on to Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and completed her postdoctoral credentials in dental anesthesiology.
Dr. Bankies medical training was completed at Loma Linda University Medical Center, a trauma facility with sixteen operating rooms, Riverside County Medical Center, and Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Hospital where she treated patients with complex medical histories for various medical procedures, and rotated through cardiology, internal medicine, acute and chronic pain management. She received further specialized training at the Special Care Dentistry Clinic at the Loma Linda School of Dentistry, which sees nearly five thousand patients annually, primarily comprised of pediatric and adult special needs patients.
With over two decades of experience, Adrineh takes pride in her job and looks forward to educating each patient about caring for their individual oral health. She ensures that each patient receives high-quality care and leaves with a healthy smile. She is the recipient of two bachelors degrees: a B.S. with honors in Dental Hygiene from USC and a B.A. in Spanish from UCLA.
Adrineh is fluent in four languages, including Armenian, Spanish, Farsi and English. In her spare time she enjoys mentoring prospective dental hygiene students, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and two boys.

Iv been going through a night mare with my old incompetent Dentist. Iv recently started seeing Dr Bak and his staff Have been Awsome the quality and his temperament professionalism has been outstanding I look forward to fixing what has been done to my mouth . I can't express how difficult the last two years have been and feel a relief that I'm in good hands now and will be lead in the right direction to get a nice smile Thank you.

Yesterday, I was feeling perturbed because one of my older root canal caps popped off . I needed some reassurance that it would be alright & I needed an emergency appointment to get it placed securely back in my head... Dr. Bak and his kind team were just what I needed . Got in & got out feeling whole again! Can't say that about every dentist . Plus the place was really nice & clean. Altho, now I'm thinking that I should get one of those dentist chairs and mount my tv to the ceiling too!

I went to the BAK Implant Studio because I lost two teeth and I was recommended to put an implants instead. The clinic is nice and well equipped. The clinic staff is friendly and very professional. Dr. Bakhshalian did a great job and I got at once two implants painlessly. I highly recommend Dr. Bakhshalian and his clinic.

I had cleaning, extractions, filling and implants in this office. The first thing you notice in this place is extremely neat, clean and bright office. Every employee and Bak himself were always wearing protective masks and were very friendly, welcoming and helpful and made my previous fear of dental work feel like nothing. Thank you BAK, I can now smile and laugh with confidence showing off my beautiful teeth.

I had an infected tooth beneath a bridge that had to be cut off to extract the tooth. I also needed an implant next to that tooth. I was referred to Dr. Bak by my regular dentist. In addition to being a practicing periodontist, Dr. Bak teaches at the USC School of Dentistry, one of the top dental schools in the country. Check-in was entirely electronic on an i-Pad, which was preloaded with much of my information. The facilities were very clean and modern. The treatment room was gleaming and the equipment looked new and state-of-the-art. Dr. Bak completed my initial procedure in about an hour, during which he told me what he was doing at every step. Even though the procedure was highly invasive, it was entirely painless, except for one injection at the outset which he prepared me for. That night, Dr. Bak called to check on my condition and give me a phone number to call with any post-op issues, of which there are none. I have to return for another implant but I'm no longer dreading the visit after this first experience. By the way, Dr. Bak's staff, both at the front desk and in the operating room, are first-rate: well-trained, helpful and very personable. I highly recommend Dr. Bak for any similar dental work.

Still suffering from a botched implant started over a year ago. The new surgeon had to redo everything. Didn't see this one coming. Dr. Bak and his staff are very nice but the level of skill and knowledge does not compare to my new guy. Thankful to have discovered this before I completed the painful implant process only to discover down the line it would not have lasted. Buyer be aware.

Dr. Bak is kind and caring. He makes you feel safe and calm. I cannot reccommend him enough for all of your periodontic needs. His entire practice is state of the art - including his front office. I will never go anywehere else. I have found someone for all of my crown and implant needs. Don't bother going anywhere else.
