is a longtime resident of the Pittsburgh area. He is a University of Pittsburgh graduate, with degrees from its undergraduate program and School of Dental Medicine. He has advanced training and certification in anesthesia, hypnosis and is a CPR instructor. He completed an externship in Oral Surgery and General Dentistry at Allegheny General Hospital. He has worked extensively with the handicapped. Dr. Baird is a member of the American Dental Association, American Dental Anesthesiologists Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Baird and his wife Alexis have two children, Jennifer and Jonathan.
Contrary to beliefs, quality dental care is inexpensive. Higher expenses are incurred when conditions are allowed to deteriorate beyond routine maintenance. Our practice concern is to make you aware of any dental needs we see.
We'll help you learn techniques of excellent oral hygiene. Our staff will review brushing and flossing procedures. We will check your periodontal status. We will conduct a Head and Neck Oral Cancer screening to make you aware of any concerns we detect.

Staff always very polite and truly concerned on patients concerns and comfort. Dr Baird explains procedures, provides advice and makes the experience as effortless and pain free (if needed) . He and his staff I would recommend.

Very friendly staff. My filling from many years ago broke. I am pretty nervous when it comes to dentist appointments. Dr Baird did a great job! They were very gentle and fixed me up in less than 20 minutes. The Novocain has worn off, and there is no soreness at all. Highly recommend Dr Baird and his staff!

Dr. Baird has been our family dentist for over 20 years. He and his staff are very friendly and efficient. We've had fillings, implants, wisdom teeth removed, and orthodontics. Couldn't be happier with this office.

I started to take my daughter's to him after our dentist retired. The women in the office are very kind and welcoming. The office itself has newer technology and is very clean with a professional atmosphere.
