I love coming to work! I have been treating patients for over 20 years and have loved every moment. I come from a family of orthodontists and knew from a young age that I wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of the people in my community. Theres no better way to improve someones confidence and self-esteem than with a smile! I feel very blessed to be in such a great profession.
Dr. Grant Baileys education has given him the knowledge and ability to ensure his patients receive the best, most effective care. Dr. Grant Bailey attended the University of Utah, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biology. He continued on toIndiana Universitywhere he received both of his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Master of Science degree in Dentistry. He is also board certified by theAmerican Board of Orthodontists.
The field of orthodontics is constantly inventing new ways to give people beautiful smiles in less time and with less discomfort. He is involved in regular continuing education to stay up-to-date on the most current technology, which allows him to provide my patients with the best advancements in orthodontic treatments.
As a native of Bountiful, Utah, Dr. Bailey is proud to serve the community where he grew up. he lives here with his wife,four children, two dogs, and two cats. His family keeps me quite busy, but when he has free time he enjoys boating, traveling, golfing, fly fishing, and occasional yard work.
Dr. Andrew Welling believes that you should love your smile. So many of lifes best moments are accompanied by a smile, and Dr. Welling wants you to feel confident to smile often. Watching the self-confidence that comes from uncovering the beauty in a patients smile is one reason Dr. Welling loves orthodontics. He will make you feel comfortable and at ease, as you work together to create a result you love.
Dr. Welling was born and raised in Bountiful, Utah. After serving a two year mission in Alberta, Canada, he attended BYU where he played on the lacrosse team and graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he received awards for clinical excellence, leadership, and character. After dental school, he completed his orthodontic training at the University of Iowa where he received his orthodontic certificate and also completed a Masters degree in Orthodontics.
Finding new ways to improve patients orthodontic experience and results are each a passion of Dr. Welling. These passions have led him to pursue additional training in the areas of clear aligner treatment (ex. Invisalign), smile esthetics, and digital orthodontics.
Dr. Welling lives in Bountiful Utah with his wife Katie and three children. He is thrilled to be home under the Wasatch Mountains serving the community that helped raise him! His hobbies include boating, softball, rock climbing, golf, and cheering for the University of Utah football team.

We love Dr. Bailey and his staff! They are always so kind and professional when we are there. I know my kids' teeth are going to be well taken care of. Today we had a virtual appointment and it was amazing!

When we were looking for an orthodontist for my daughter her dentist recommended a few and when my daughter sat down with dr.Bailey she knew right away he was the orthodontist she wanted to make her smile everything she could hope for. She loves the staff, everyone is so kind and willing to help in anyway they can. My daughter is about half way through her new smile and she is loving it she can speak better and she smiles more than she ever has. She had a tongue thrust and a large overbite and to see her confidence go up with her speech and her smile makes me so happy as a mom. I would absolutely recommend to everyone I know to go see Bailey Orthodontics.

We recently moved to Bountiful and my son needed braces. We found Bailey Orthodontics and couldn't be happier. The doctors are great and very knowledgeable with lots of great options! The whole office staff is kind and they are efficient. They value my time and I would recommend them to anyone needing orthodontic work!! You won't be disappointed!

It's been a few years since I've been in treatment but Dr. Bailey actually treated me while I was living overseas. He was willing to make it work and saw me whenever I was back in the US. He was always so kind to my family and I really appreciate the time he took to get to know us on a more personal level. I love my smile and I'm proud to say it was because of Dr. Bailey and his amazing staff!

I have a 9 year old whose jaw was recessed and he had a pronounced over jet of his upper teeth. As Dr Bailey and I discussed possible options, I was hesitant to put on an appliance since he didn't have all his permanent teeth yet. However, knowing the next two years of his growth would be significant and the appliance may help his jaw alignment during that growth, I felt good about moving forward with it. Three months later, I have to say, the appliance was a game changer for my son in more ways than I anticipated. He had struggled with sleep apnea and snoring as well as a tickle/pain that would constantly urge him to pull and tug at his ears. We'd taken him to his primary care doctor and an ENT about this ear problem with no diagnosis or help offered. However after three months with this appliance, both issues have been resolved. But, I realized the most impactful change on my son was during the quarterly review I'd had with my son's speech therapist. For two years he's worked with his school's speech therapist and struggled with his guttural sounds (k/g and a little r sound). At our review of his ILP, the speech therapist said, "I don't know what Briant has done the past few months, but he's had a dramatic change for the better and we anticipate no longer needing speech help." I've not even mentioned how it's helped his profile and appearance and jaw alignment, which was the initial reason we felt good about moving forward with the appliance. Yes, I'm an advocate for orthodontics in general, but there are so many unforeseen advantages that accompany it. Dr Bailey has been an advocate for kids, their confidence and their smiles for years and my kids have benefited. Thank you!!!

To long of waiting. When we go in for an oppointment, people who came after us left first while I had to wait for them. I sat 15 minutes doing nothing because he was paying attention to other people and talking on and on.

I did Invisalign with Dr. Bailey and my teeth are pretty straight. You know how usually when you get any dental work, they are usually very careful and concerned about how your bite lines up? Not this time. My bite is not corrected which was the whole reason I wanted treatment. My bite will not line up properly and despite making multiple special visits, Dr. Bailey wont address the issue. I'll have to go through another orthodontist to solve the problem Every time I went to the office, I was lucky to get more than 30 seconds of his time during the checkup (not an exaggeration). I would clearly communicate my concerns, just to have them dismissed. This experience was a waste of money and a failure. I suggest going elsewhere.
