Dr. Ben Bailey attended the University of Michigan Dental School, graduating in 2010 with a 3.60 GPA, and was ranked 19th in his class. Upon graduation, Ben took the Northeast Regional Dental Boards, and scored between 96 and 100% on all the clinical tests.
Dr. Ben attended Siebert Elementary School, Jefferson Middle School, and Dow High School. During high school Dr. Ben was a member of the Dow High JV and Varsity soccer teams, participated in marching and symphonic band, and was a member of the NHS. He was actively involved in Boy Scouts of America and with his local church groups. During his senior year he was a co-op at the MidMichigan Regional Medical Centers Microbiology Lab. He graduated from Dow High in 2002 with a 4.88 GPA.
Dr. Ben attended Grand Valley State University (GVSU) from 2002-2006 where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Sciences, graduating with a 3.69 GPA. He was on the Deans list every semester while at GVSU and also tutored students in Biology at the GVSU tutoring center. He was one of the founding members of the GVSU Pre-Dental Club and went on to be its president his senior year. He also worked as an admissions counselor, helping incoming students make decisions regarding their college experience.
Upon graduating from GVSU, Dr. Ben was accepted to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He was inducted as a member of the Omicron Kappa Epsilon National Dental Honor Society. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2010 with a 3.6 GPA, and was ranked 19th in his class. He took the Northeast Regional Boards and scored between 96 and 100% in all clinical tests.
His dental experience started at a young age as he worked part-time at his dads dental office performing various cleaning, set-up, and dental material fabrication duties. When he got to GVSU, he continued to participate in dentistry by being involved with the GVSU Pre-Dental Club. His education at University of Michigan was the springboard for a commitment to serving his patients and community for years to come.
Dr. Ben loves skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, wake skating, mountain biking, hitting the gym, and pretty much any sport that involves the outdoors and a challenge. He is also a huge baseball and football fan. His wife, Ashly, who he met in dental school, is also a dentist. They enjoy spending time with their young sons, Christian and Bodhi, and their dogs, Clarke and Blaze.

I can't say enough good things about my family's experience with Dr. Bailey and the whole staff. Everyone has been wonderful. I really appreciate the folks at the front desk-- they have always been knowledgeable, caring, and responsive to our needs. Before coming to Bailey Dental almost 10 years ago I had a dentist that hurt ("you say you're not numb? Let's just see how it goes.") and I had come to avoid going to the dentist. I told them this and they understood and took very good care of me and my kiddos. Completely pain free! What a relief. It feels like family in a good way ;)

This is definitely my favorite dental office, and I have been to several over the years. Dr. Ben and his staff are friendly and professional. They really care about their patients and give top care at reasonable rates. Their office is very clean. They have excellent procedures in place to deal with COVID, ensuring staff and patients are kept safe and healthy. Would definitely recommend.

I had been dealing with a sensitivity issue for approximately one year without much resolution from a previous dentist. Dr. Ben Bailey was highly recommended to me by many friends so I booked an appointment with him. I had an ongoing issues so I was so impressed on how he listened to what was going on with me, set up a testing/treatment plan, discussed with me at length (I ask a lot of questions) and had a plan to move forward for a resolution. He was also very upfront as this was a chronic issue this would be many steps for a resolution. I appreciated the honestly. I am almost one year later and very happy with Dr. Bailey and his staff. Throughout my entire process of each appointment, they were friendly, thorough and professional. They were always 2 steps ahead of me when it came to scheduling and keeping track of my insurance, etc.. I also have some anxiety issues at the dentist so when it came to treatment days, they went above and beyond to use sensory techniques to lesson anxiety and LOVE they offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas)! Highly recommend. My entire family goes here!
