Doctor Smith was born and raised in Utah, where he learned to love the outdoors and led a very active life full of camping, hiking, biking, and participating in various team sports. After graduating Jordan High School, he served a two year mission for his church in the French Caribbean. Upon returning from his mission he attended the University of Utah, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in French, with a minor in chemistry. Doctor Smith attended dental school at Temple University, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Although he loved his time on the east coast, he was eager to get back to the mountains of the west, and so he came back to Colorado to begin his dental career.
Doctor Smith loves practicing as a general dentist because it gives him the opportunity to treat patients of all different ages, backgrounds and needs. Doctor Smith loves all aspects of dentistry and therefore loves the variety that general dentistry provides him. Doctor Smiths favorite part of dentistry is seeing a patients face light up when they look in a mirror after dental work has been completed. He understands that a persons smile plays a major role in their confidence and overall happiness; therefore he strives to give patients the best result he can. To help him do this, he is constantly keeping up to date with the latest in dentistry and participating in continuing education courses, including subjects like restorative and cosmetic dentistry, whitening, extractions, implants, root canals and pediatric dentistry.
Doctor Smith has been married to his sweetheart, Jeni for 13 years. They have a 10 year old daughter, Sophie and they recently had another daughter, Sage. They try to spend as much time together as possible. Some things they like doing as a family are playing games, taking trips, camping, biking, jeeping and watching movies.

I have been using Bailey Dental since 2020 for deep-cleaning, a crown, routine check-ups and, more recently, a wisdom tooth extraction. The quality of care, attention, professionalism and friendliness from Dr. Smith, Ashley, Jodie, Sue and all the staff, including the girls at the front desk in helping me feel at ease, is truly excellent. Their before, during and after-care is outstanding and I am grateful to the whole team for their care and attention. Bailey Dental is a great asset to the Bailey community and surrounding area and, needless to say, I am more than happy to highly recommend them.

A good dentist is hard to find. Dr. Jared Smith is a clone of the dentist we had for 30 years. He's kind, gentle, honest, professional. and has great sense of humor. His staff members are the best. They're kind and greet you with a smile. : )

I would give them 10 stars if I could, by far the best dentist I've ever been to. They made me feel comfortable, and I'm not too fond of dental work. Ashley was amazing and precise with the filling, and the Doc had special finesse to make sure I was in no pain. I also received a gift that made it even more accommodating. I will definitely recommend them to anybody, Wayover Comfort Dental. Don't waste your money, just make the right choice and go. I wouldn't defined them as a practice they know what they doing!

I have a very unhealthy fear of the dentist. But the staff at Bailey Dental makes me feel safe and works with me, rather than making me feel more anxious. Shout out to Ashley, Sue, and many more, include Doc. Smith...he talks to me, engages in conversations so I don't feel as nervous, and talks me through everything that he's doing.

I have been a patient here for a couple of years. I have had routine cleanings, plus an extraction, repair of a crown, and other work. I have found Dr. Smith, Ashley, and the whole team to be pleasant, professional, and competent. Scheduling is easy and they have been very responsive to my emergencies. I highly recommend Bailey Dental.

I recently moved to Bailey and am beyond impressed with Dr. Smith and his staff. They were very kind, and answered all of my questions. The exam was very thorough. I really appreciate how Dr. Smith and this staff talk through every bit of the process. My visit was very educational and I am excited to return!

They are awesome at Bailey Dental ! The front desk and the Doc and all of his dental hygienists are very knowledgeable and gentle and kind. My teeth look and feel great . Today they had a new hygienist named Sue who was awesome and gave me some great info on taking care of my teeth .

An amazing group of specialists. Ashley did my fillings and I have never loved my teeth before. They are color matched and shaped PERFECT; can't even tell which are fillings!! Bailey Dental also accepts Medicaid.

Great dental work done here. I drive 3 plus hours to get my teeth cleaned here. I appreciate them. The chair side manner could be better but nothing too terrible. I enjoy going here and always recommend them.

I honestly can't say enough positive things about this business! Me, my better half and now my 4 year old daughter come here regularly. Ashley has done amazing things for all of us and especially our daughter. I never expected my daughter to enjoy the dentist but she looks forward to her visits here every single time. I've been taking my kiddos to this office for a while now and the entire staff does an amazing job! The front desk ladies are super friendly and helpful. The dentist (dr.smith) and his assistants provide exceptional service every time we go in!! Highly recommend this office, they are wonderful! Also- they accommodated us on a last minute appt due to my son having an infection and they saw us right away and handled it!
