Dr. Sami Bahri was born in Lebanon where he received his dental degree from Saint Joseph Jesuit University. He spent three years in Paris, France specializing in dental prosthetics, and upon his return to Lebanon, he started teaching dentistry
In 1990, he moved to Jacksonville, FL with his wife Dr. Micheline Baz Bahri and co-founded Bahri Dental Group with his brother, Dr. Gaby Bahri. They have been providing their dental services to Jacksonville ever since.
Dr. Sami is the first 'Lean' dentist, the author of the internationally recognized workbook: 'Follow the learner' and the winner of the Shingo Prize. He was a pioneer at implementing Toyota production principals in is dental office: just in time and one piece flow, resulting in no wait, no waste. He lectures across the US and has made Bahri Dental Group a beacon of dental management that many companies visit and learn from.
Dr. Micheline Baz graduated at 22, with Honors, from the Facult Franaise de Mdecine Dentaire (Beirut, Lebanon). She ran her solo practice while studying for a post-doc in Dental Materials. In the early 80's, she took part in founding the Lebanese University's dental school, where she taught Prosthodontics for ten years
In 1990, she moved to the US where she attended, and later on taught, dental review courses with Board Preps. Dr. Baz and her husband Dr. Sami Bahri opened their first dental office in Jacksonville, FL. Since then, she has played an active role in its management and continuous improvement while practicing dentistry part-time. She is famous for her painless anesthesia delivery and her keen attention to detail.
Dr. Baz Bahri is an active member of the ADA, FDA, JDS and NEDDA and stays up-to-date through CE classes and hands on sessions. She has offered more than 20 years of various volunteer work across the Jacksonville community. She is fluent in English, French, Arabic and Lebanese.
Born in Lebanon, Dr. Gaby Bahri moved to the United States in 1989 after ten years of international dental study: Faculte de Medecine Dentaire Saint Joseph University, Beirut Lebanon: DDS 1977-1982; Paris Academy University Rene Descartes: certificate in Fixed Prosthodontics 1985; University Paris VII: certificate in Materials Used in Dentistry 1985, certificate in Dentofacial Orthopedics 1987, and certificate in Orthodontics 1983-1987

I had my first appointment today at Bahri Dental Group. I was amazed at the beautiful job Patricia did on my teeth when she cleaned them! I had NEVER had my fillings match my teeth before. This was the first time both were white. I was so happy! Dr. Bahri was very professional also. Thank you so much for the awesome service! My dentist Dr. Relan Komal is the best dentist that i have every been a patient of. I have been associated with the BAHRI group for 15 years. My daughter had her braces installed there and everything worked out outstanding. I have had various dental work performed by Dr Komal and every time she has done a perfect job. I have been to a lot of dentist both in the states and abroad to include the US Navy. There is NONE BETTER then Dr. Komal. THANK YOU FORVER FOR YOUR SUPERIOR SERVICE.

Dr Bahri and his entire team has been super helpful through the entire braces process. From the initial consultation, through all of the adjustments, and in the retainer stage. The staff is extremally polite yet professional. Wait time is never an issue. For a dental office the environment is relaxing. Dr. Relan is the best dentist on the Planet! I thank you all for ensuring my teeth are healthy and your recommendation to stop eating candy so much. See you in 6 months :-D

Dr Bahri acts as if he is too good to answer your questions and you feel intimidated. Arrogant attitude. Consultation is literally 60 seconds. Rushed off.. So i'll go elsewhere.

Only dentist always willing to make the time to help me with last minute needs like a broken tooth. Fast, efficient and friendly. Can make crowns right there instead of ordering out and having to wait a week or more.

I love this dentist. Rosa does my cleaning & she is absolutely amazing! Her communication is top notch! She always walks me through what we are doing. Why we are doing it. And, gives me tips on how to have better teeth! She is amazing and so is the lady DR :) 10/10 would recommend.

Great place. From Joyce to Ramela I always have a great experience. They are super friendly and amazingly efficient. If I can say anything is don't slack on wearing the bands when they tell you to. I would and do recommend them to everyone.

Went to Dr. Bahri for Orthodontics to get a second opinion. He was honest and up front about what he thought would be best for my treatment. Everything was tailored to me and my dental health. Sue & Joyce were also great at explaining insurance and verifying it for me so that I knew what I would be responsible for. I felt like they put all the information I needed before going forward.
