Dr. Blahnik is a native Midwesterner born in Wausau, WI and raised in Burnsville, MN. At a young age, Ian aspired to become a dentist, and through many years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance, he was able to make his dream reality. He attended the University of Minnesota for three years and continued his journey at the University of Iowa where he received his DDS degree. Shortly after achieving his academic goals, Dr. Blahnik came back to Minnesota to start his dental career at Metro Dental Care in Roseville. His philosophy of patient education has earned him trust among patients. Through his passion for patient care, community improvement, and education, it is no surprise that Dr. Blahnik has become a local success story in the dental community. Dr. Blahnik is a well-rounded dentist with notable experience in restorative treatments such as fillings and crown work. In addition, he is currently expanding his arsenal of expertise by pursuing his interests in extractions and Invisalign treatments. Outside the dental practice, Dr. Blahnik enjoys playing guitar, reading books, and traveling the world, but above all, he loves watching the age long rivalry of the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers!

As much as I don't look forward to the dentist, my experience at Badger Hills Dental was very favorable. Their patient care was professional, accommodating and friendly.

Everyone at this dental office is so nice! They schedule appointments quickly, go through everything thoroughly and make you feel at ease. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now!

Very disappointed with this dental office. I had an appointment scheduled with them that they cancelled on me then later rescheduled for the same day. This happened a month or two before the appointment. No big deal. Then they move the appointment from 3 pm to 2 pm. Again, not a problem in itself but it is probably showing some underlying issues about the business. I get a call two hours before my appointment and I can't answer it as I'm at work. I then get a text from their automated system confirming my appointment time. Great. I am greeted by a slightly aggressive receptionist aggravated that I'm here as they reached out to me to let me know my hygienist was out for the day and that I would need to reschedule. I did have the option of getting the exam done that day, just not the cleaning. I eventually decided to try another dental office.

Not booked too far out and got a great cleaning and exam. Liked the in mouth camera for pics of each tooth.

I received a coupon from Badger Hills Dental Care in 2021 and decided to give them a try. My first contact with them was in mid January 2022, and I booked first available appointment for cleaning exam and xrays on 4/15/2022. I proceeded to have my Dental records transferred there and went online to do the pre-exam paperwork. On 4/15/2022, I received a phone call from Badger Hills Dental, and they needed to cancel my appointment because the hygienist was ill and needed to reschedule. The earliest available appointment was for 6/08/2022 at 9AM. They also said that I would be put on a first available list as well. I received a text reminder on 5/25/2022 for what I thought was a confirmation for my appointment on 6/08/2022 @9AM. I showed up at their office at 9AM on 6/08/2022, only to find out that they had "no record" of my appointment and they were fully booked for that day, even though the waiting area was empty. My wife and I were very upset and let them know that they were totally incompetent in their handling of my account. We were trying out a new dental office only to find out that they were not capable of providing the services advertised. I would have given "0 Stars" if that were offered. Also, from the time I made the first appointment that got canceled to the appointment that they had no record of, we moved to Sargeant, MN, which is 33 miles SW of Rochester, so we made the drive for nothing.

As a first time patient at Badger Hills the reception employees were very helpful, kind, and welcoming. Samantha did an amazing job during my appointment. She is very professional and knowledgeable. The dentist was very informative as well making everything about my first visit very positive. I am glad I choose Badger Hills as my dental care in Rochester.
