Dr. Erin Sain is a Summit High School graduate returning home after completing her dental education. She began pursuing her dental career during high school working after school and summers as an assistant for long-time dentist and mentor Jerry Peterson DDS. After graduating from Summit High School, she attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, earning her undergraduate degree in Biology and went on to earn her dental degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. After earning her dental degree, she has returned to Summit County to practice dentistry in the mountains she loves. She and her husband Pat Giberson and new baby Chloe currently live in Silverthorne and enjoy back country skiing, nordic skiing and biking. On the weekends, you will find her cruising the nordic trails in the winter and tearing up the bike trails in the summer. She and her family are excited to return to the beauty of Summit County and become active members of the community.

Friendly staff just be careful if they recommend crowns and don't be afraid to get a second opinion. What they claimed I needed 3 crowns for with a $2800 bill I went to another dentist in town and it was 3 filling with a bill of only a couple hundred dollars.

I didn't have any harm or anything, but I had to reschedule for the birth of our kid and rather than being rescheduled in a week or two, I was put another few months out. The appointments are so tightly scheduled, it feels more like a factory than patient care. Go up the road to Dr. Redpath at Innovative Dental in Dillon. Newer technology, easier scheduling, and more personal care.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I got my wisdom teeth removed and will be making them my primary dentist. The office is very comfortable, beautiful and sanitary. I've had nothing but a great experience! They're also doing a great job with COVID protocols and I felt very safe.

This office is always professional, courteous and prompt. I have always gotten attentive and conscientious care from Dr Sain and the hygienists at Backcountry. They make it especially easy to know when your appointments are through their notification and reminder systems. I have been a patient here for years and will continue returning.

Great patient experience and quality of care! Randy talked me through everything, answered all of my questions and concerns, and did a very thorough cleaning. This was probably the best dental experience I have had, and I look forward to coming back and referring others. Worth the 2 month wait, that's for sure!

My dentist for the past five or six years. Very capable general dentistry with ties to specialists for dental surgery and endodontics. just went out of her way to replace a broken crown on an implant without having to have the implant pulled. Found correct components and tools to replace the crown. Last time this happened to me I had a different dentist and he pulled the implant and i had to start from scratch. BIG DIFFERENCE IN RECOVERY TIME AND COST.

Really nice office; very comfortable. My hygienist was super thorough in explaining everything and answering my questions. Also, she performed the fastest x-rays I've ever had, which is awesome since bite wings can be uncomfortable. Dentist was fast, but thorough and I felt like she addressed all of my issues. Thank you to the receptionist, who explained in detail my care plan, potential cost, and other insurance formalities.

This was a great new patient experience for me. The hygienist was friendly and always letting me know what she was doing. She let me know how things were looking for me and anything I needed to keep an eye on. Dr. Sain was also friendly and informing, a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this dentist office and I'm very happy.
