We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.
Dr. Bachstein, a native of Syracuse, New York, was raised in Starnberg, Germany, where he graduated from high school before returning to Syracuse. Dr. Bachstein received a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University in 1989 and subsequently attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 1994.
After graduating from Penn, he obtained a post-graduate Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) from the Temple University School of Dentistry. At Temple he was also a faculty member in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Oral Medicine. In this context he also conducted research in dental materials.
Dr. Bachstein currently practices general dentistry with emphasis on personalized family and esthetic care. During his more than fifteen years of professional practice he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to high-quality dental treatment. He has good rapport with young patients. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and of the International Dental Fraternity, Alpha Omega.

We participate with most PPO dental insurances, such as Delta Dental, Met Life, Aetna, Guardian, Cigna, and United Concordia, just to name a few. For patients who have other insurance we will be happy to submit your forms and help you maximize your dental benefits. (Remember that, by contract we must ask for your co-pays at the time of service.)
Getting the dental care you need can be affordable! We are happy to offer you our own dental plan. A small yearly fee provides you with free examinations, x-rays, and routine cleanings. Other dental services are provided with office policy courtesy in order to make the cost of dental treatment manageable for you.
We do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major treatment, we can help design a payment plan that you find affordable. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.

When I first read all these raving reviews about Dr. Bachstein, I was honestly a little skeptical. However, 10 minutes into the appointment, I soon understood why everyone spoke so highly of him. He was encouraging, funny, and considerate. I didn't wait long to be seen, and unlike any practices I have ever been, my first appointment was done by Dr. Bachstein he himself. He took the time to acquaint with me and got to know my needs. My routine cleaning was quick and it couldn't have gone better. Everyone at the practice was friendly and welcoming. Funnily enough, I went back within weeks due to a dental emergency and Dr. Bachstein was so gracious to fit me in the day I called. It makes a tremendous difference to know that I have a dentist whom I can depend on. Thank you!

Dr. Bachstein and Kristen at the front desk are the best! I never thought I'd like going to the dentist, but they go above and beyond to make sure their patients are happy and healthy. A family member RAVED about them for so long that I had to check it out, and I'm so glad I did. Dr. B always takes the time to answer my questions, and explain how things work with my teeth and jaw. For my family, he's handled everything from routine cleanings to complex repair after injury. Plus, more than any dentist I've had, he's positive in encouraging how to take good care of my teeth. (No guilting or floss shaming!) He also makes sure to optimize both care and cost - I've gotten great care covered by my plan, and never once felt "sales pressure" about any procedure, special toothpaste, etc. the way I have with other dentists. Kristen has double checked my insurance benefits for anything we'd need to do, and she's always found a slot for me even with my packed schedule. They really do a great job start to finish. My teeth are happy, I'm happy - I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Love the clean neat offices, it's relaxing where relaxing is quite important. Doc Bachstein matches the comfort with an amusing sense of humor second to none. But most importantly the dental care is simply excellent... I've been a difficult patient for several decades and have appreciated his skills and knowledge, not to mention his ability to get needles in my mouth before I turn into my usual chicken. Top notch guy... believe it!
