Dr. Kashlan began her training at Northwestern University for her undergraduate degree and continued to University of Michigan for her doctor of dental surgery degree. She has several years of experience in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kashlan prides herself in giving her patients the ultimate care and putting their needs first. Her dedication comes from treating her patients like family.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois Dental Society. She loves participating in commiunity events and is a member of the Darien Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Kashlan is a founding member of the Mommy Dentists in Business Group.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kashlan loves spending time with her husband Dr. Rany Jazayerli and their four daughters. She likes to travel, try new restaurants and enjoys endless dance parties with her girls!
Dr. Amer Shammaa is devoted to providing quality personal orthodontic care. His treatment approach combines the most innovative techniques and state-of-the-art appliances and equipment. Being trained under some of the best orthodontists in the country, Dr. Shammaa hopes to change peoples lives by creating a healthy smile that will make them happy and confident. He enjoys creating long-term relationships with his patients and their families.
Dr. Shammaa received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota, and his postgraduate certificate and Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from West Virginia University. Dr. Shammaa is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and several other professional organizations. He is certified and has valuable experience treating patients using Invisalign, TADs (mini-implants), lingual braces, Wilcodontics, orthognathic, surgical cases, and multiple other orthodontics techniques.

As the lead assistant at B&R Dentists, Adela brings more than 15 years of experience to the office. Her passion and dedication to provide excellent care radiate during every patient visit. She has extensive chair side assisting skills not only in general dentistry, but in cosmetic and orthodontics as well. Her vibrant energy and positive attitude are undeniable. Adela will make sure that you receive the most relaxed dental experience. Its always comforting to know youre being taken care of by a knowledgeable and skilled dental assistant.
When she is not doing what she does best at the office, Adela loves to spend her free time on her farm with her husband and son. Whether it be conjuring up her next delicious meal or tending to her garden with her green thumb she takes advantage of her down time by even volunteering at her local nursing homes and shelters. She is even a licensed cosmetologist, and enjoys traveling. Lets just say Adela does it all and enjoys every minute of it.
