Dr. Belsam Renee Kashlan welcomes you to her practice as part of her family. Here you are not just a face with a mouth and teeth. Her background is rich with compassion and care for all ages. She is a skilled dentist who shines as a nurturing provider given that she is a daughter, sister, wife and devoted mother to her four daughters.
Dr. Kashlan began her training at Northwestern University for her undergraduate degree and continued to University of Michigan for her doctor of dental surgery degree. She has several years of experience in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kashlan prides herself in giving her patients the ultimate care and putting their needs first. Her dedication comes from treating her patients like family.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois Dental Society. She loves participating in commiunity events and is a member of the Darien Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Kashlan is a founding member of the Mommy Dentists in Business Group.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kashlan loves spending time with her husband Dr. Rany Jazayerli and their four daughters. She likes to travel, try new restaurants and enjoys endless dance parties with her girls!
Dr. Amer Shammaa is devoted to providing quality personal orthodontic care. His treatment approach combines the most innovative techniques and state-of-the-art appliances and equipment. Being trained under some of the best orthodontists in the country, Dr. Shammaa hopes to change peoples lives by creating a healthy smile that will make them happy and confident. He enjoys creating long-term relationships with his patients and their families.
Dr. Shammaa received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota, and his postgraduate certificate and Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from West Virginia University. Dr. Shammaa is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and several other professional organizations. He is certified and has valuable experience treating patients using Invisalign, TADs (mini-implants), lingual braces, Wilcodontics, orthognathic, surgical cases, and multiple other orthodontics techniques.

As the lead assistant at B&R Dentists, Adela brings more than 15 years of experience to the office. Her passion and dedication to provide excellent care radiate during every patient visit. She has extensive chair side assisting skills not only in general dentistry, but in cosmetic and orthodontics as well. Her vibrant energy and positive attitude are undeniable. Adela will make sure that you receive the most relaxed dental experience. Its always comforting to know youre being taken care of by a knowledgeable and skilled dental assistant.
When she is not doing what she does best at the office, Adela loves to spend her free time on her farm with her husband and son. Whether it be conjuring up her next delicious meal or tending to her garden with her green thumb she takes advantage of her down time by even volunteering at her local nursing homes and shelters. She is even a licensed cosmetologist, and enjoys traveling. Lets just say Adela does it all and enjoys every minute of it.

Such a great experience! I had called several offices nearby to get an emergency appointment and this was by far the only office who was so polite and understanding. The receptionist, Janet, explained that they were completely booked but was going to try her best to get me in, and in minutes she called me back saying she was able to squeeze me in. The moment I arrived Janet welcomed me so warmly and made me feel less anxious about the appointment! The dental assistant Adela is very friendly and the doctor was very informative and gentle during the procedure. Highly recommend this dental office!!

Do not go this dentist. My family has been used to be apart of this clinic but switched after the terrible quality of service. For example my sibling was sent to the ER after Dr.Kashlon messed up on a root canal. In the review he made their response told he was never patient here which they said to make it as seem as if this was all made up and to make themselves not look bad. This is shady company.

My child had a great experience here- they are excellent with children! Especially Janet and Dr. Kabir! Wonderful, gentle, put Netflix on for his nervousness, and did great work. Glad we found them.

Went in for a cleaning and was impressed with the calm and clean environment. The staff was very friendly and informative. Janet and Adela made me feel comfortable and Secure during my visit. Will definitely go again! Thumbs up to a great team

This was my first time here for a cleaning. Because it was my first time, I needed X-rays done as well. The ladies were nice but I'm not sure how sanitary it was. During the X-ray she was adjusting the thing in my mouth and touching the machine and then back into my mouth. I thought maybe they sanitize it before and after patients. But once she was done with the X-ray machine she just put it back into the cabinet. The lady also putting toothpaste on my teeth was very rough and my lips were extremely dry Bc the suction was on without any water. I was afraid that my lip was going to rip because she was so rough. Then she flossed my teeth and again, she was very rough with it in my mouth and it was sore after the visit. I was clenching in the chair the whole time. I do not plan on coming back and was probably my worse experience in any dentist office. I wish I said something but I figure it won't take too too long and because I'm not a confrontational person

Dr. Kashlan is fabulous! So gentle, kind, and patient. She does a great job explaining procedures and treatment options. I recently scheduled an appt with Dr. K for my (anti-dentist) daughter. She walked away from the appt expressing how nice she thought Dr. K was and that this was "the best dentist" she had ever been to!

I went to get fillings and had to return a few days later because the fillings were done very poorly. Then I went back again because one filling didn't take and I needed to have the tooth pulled. I was not given enough anesthesia. I felt everything. I was crying my eyes out and repeatedly said it hurts so bad, it hurts so bad. Dentist kept pulling the tooth anyway. I ended up shaking all over, blood pressure went to 230 and I was rushed to the hospital when Dentist called 911. Please do not go here. I had two molars pulled in the past and all I felt was pressure and heard crunching, never felt pain as I did at this place. It was the most barbaric procedure I ever had, and the worst pain I ever experienced in my life.

Dr.Hedroug is the best dentist I have ever seen! Professional, but fun. I appreciate how well everything is explained to me. I absolutely love his entire staff! Everyone is a always so helpful and kind. I recommend Dr.Hedroug to everyone! 100 STARS!!

I've had appointments with Dr. Hedroug and Dr. Kashlan. They, the assistant Adela and the billings person have all been great. Everyone is very nice, they explain things well, and I think they've done a great job.

Dr Kashlan and staff are AMAZING!!! I have been a patient for years & everytime I've had any procedures done it has been with minimal pain. I love that!!! I'm always looking forward to my next visit. Office is clean & relaxing while have any work done. I would recommend Dr Kashlan a 1000% !!!!
