Dr. John Hoover is a general dentist and looks forward to an opportunity to provide you with comfortable, quality dentistry for your entire family. Dr. Hoover grew up and went to high school in Paradise, Texas. After completing his undergraduate studies at Howard Payne University, Dr. Hoover earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. He then spent 4 years practicing in Oklahoma with the Cherokee Nation in a state-of-the-art health center providing comprehensive dental care for children and adults.
Dr. Hoovers goal in his practice is to educate and inform his patients of their oral health needs and to assist them as they achieve excellent dental health. Dr. Hoover understands the importance of continuing education in order to provide the best care possible for your family, and completes many hours of study annually in various aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Hoover and his wife, Grace, have two young daughters. Dr. Hoover and his family love spending time outdoors, visiting family, and serving in their church. Dr. Hoover looks forward to meeting you and your family!

Azle Family Dentistry is wonderful. Their staff is always friendly, helpful and courteous. When I've had a dental emergency, I have left a message and Dr. Hoover himself calls back within a few minutes. When I couldn't get in to see my usual oral surgeon, they found another one who could work me in quickly and took my insurance. Dr. Hoover is so incredibly gentle when he works. I would recommend them to everyone looking for a great dentist!

Love, love,love this dentist and his entire staff. Dr. Hoover is the kindest and most gentle dentist I have ever been to. I'm in my 70's and been to a lot of dentists. Dr. Hoover by far outshines them all. No wonder this place has a 5 star rating. If you have dental anxiety as I do, this is the place for you!

The folks at Azle Family Dentistry are wonderful, friendly and caring. The office always clean and neat. I have trouble getting x-rays taken, but they are always patient and allow me the time I need. I never liked going to the dentist, but these folks have changed my mind.
