Dr. Majid secured his dental degree D.M.D., M.S.D. from Tufts University, Massachusetts and masters degree M.S.D. from Indianapolis, Indiana. He has practiced in the Harrisburg area since 1975 and has been recognized by the Consumer Research Group as one of America's Top Dentists. Dr. Majid has also been recognized to a special life membership status by American Dental Association (ADA) that recognizes a member's many years of support and commitment to high standards of dental profession and to organized dentistry.
Dr. Majid specializes in Prosthodontics (cosmetic reconstruction and restoration of teeth including but not limited to bleaching, implants, crowns and bridges, laminate cosmetic veneers, cosmetic tooth colored fillings instead of silver, partials with or without clasps and full dentures).

I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh's dental hygiene school in 1970. I worked in the Pittsburg area for 16 years, moved to Florida, obtained my hygiene license and worked there for 3 years, then moved to Harrisburg. I have been working with Dr. Majid since 1990. In my free time I like to windsurf, kayak, play tennis, ice skate and do gardening.
I was certified in Dental Assisting in 1998, at Harrisburg Area Community College. I am enjoying being part of Dr. Majid's dental team, where the atmosphere is friendly and patient-oriented. In my free time, I love to travel, read and watch movies.

Money hungry. Didn't listen to concerns. They sent me for a root canal but insisted on working on my other teeth before working on the tooth they sent me to get worked on. Refused to do a bridge over my missing teething before working on my teeth I already had which was more expensive. I went and got a second opinion and we came up with a plan of care that compromised with my wishes and the work that needed to be done. Needless to say my husband and I will not be returning.

Great service given to me, and my son as well when he was only 6 years old at the time! He's 42 years of age, and our journey as my dentist actually began some 30 years ago! That's a life time of service, which to me is awesome!

He did five crowns on me that he never said he was going to do plus I didn't need them. Also he wanted to pull two other teeth and put a bridge in. When I went back to the VA dental clinic they confirmed DR Majid did work he should not have done and also the work he was going to do was not needed. Highly do not recommend this guy. Also a lot of other Veterans that went there all had issues. He should be put out of practice!!!

That was the fastest teeth cleaning I ever had. Usually, a hygienist takes 45 minutes to fully clean my teeth. When she started wrapping things up in 12 minutes, I asked are you done? And she said yes. A month later I went to another dentist who was able to scrape tons of plaque off my teeth. I cannot believe all the positivw reviews. When I was there, the waiting room had only one other patient and one of the patient care rooms in the back was cleared out like dental staff had left the practice. After cleaning and x-rays, Dr. Aziz came in to see me. He might be a competent dentist but I wouldn't know because I did not pursue care here. After he said my choices were implants or bridges, I asked, "what are the pros and cons between implants versus bridges?" He replied, "my my we are all over the place" then said implants cost more." I was stunned - I'm all over the place? We barely had 2 sentences out, been barely speaking for 2 minutes and this was his reply? I couldn't get out the door quick enough. And I pursued dental care with a different dentist who did explain a more in depth answer about the pros & cons between implants and bridges. Worst dental experience I ever had. The positive reviews on here have to be by staff or family cuz there's no way this many patients are raving about this place. My observation is that it's a dying practice.

I came to see Dr. Majid and his staff in December 2021. I had extensive damage to my teeth. My bite did not provide enough room between upper and lower teeth and therefore caused excessive wear, cracking, and chipping. 6 of my top front teeth were so worn in fact that they were nearly transparent. I had 14 crowns done and have 3 more to go. I no longer have to hide my smile and also joked with staff that I might be smiling at inappropriate times for awhile. I consider myself a seasoned veteran of the dentist's chair and usually am quite relaxed. However, as I've aged I have become more nervous about the dentist visits probably due in large part because of the severe condition my teeth were in. The staff and Dr. Majid were quite caring and professional in my experience. I really could not be happier. Thank you Dr. Majid and staff.

Absolute criminals. They quoted us a price, we paid after the service was complete, they told us everything was done. Months later they send a bill for the full price of the service and immediately sued for it with slanderous lies about me and my family. I don't think I've ever seen a more unprofessional provider in my life

He is overcharging patients. Don't tell them you have another dental insurances. He is milking both insurances. That's why insurance cost for the patients go up.

I had enough of my teeth falling out from the Steroids I took for my Crohn's disease throughout the years. I couldn't eat very well as it was too painful. So I googled Dentists and called Dr. Majid and made an appointment. Right from the start his staff made me feel very comfortable. First I got a cleaning then I saw Dr. Majid he told me what I needed to know. First thing was an oral surgeon. After that was done I had to heal. Dr. Majid gave time to heal. Then there were 4 more teeth that needed pulled. They talked me into getting them pulled in his office. I was scared. But Dr. Majid gave me enough novacaine that I didn't feel a thing. Fantastic!! He worked with me on the rest of the dental work that needed done. He was so gentle and kind. Then he started with a partial bottom plate and upper full dentures. I had only 4 teeth in my mouth. He was very gentle working with my dentures. He was very thorough in making the dentures and making sure they fit properly. I was very happy with Dr. Majid and his staff. I would recommend Dr. Majid to anyone looking for a Dentist. I found him on Google. Thank you Dr. Majid for everything you did for me. See you in May! Debbie Muzic I
