Dr. Eifler hails from the Yukon! Specifically, Yukon, Oklahoma, a suburb of Oklahoma City, where he was raised by his father, an engineer, and his mother, an elementary school teacher. He has never been afraid to work hard and started early at age eight. From bagging groceries, balling and burlapping trees, landscaping houses, mowing lawns, washing and waxing new cars, and working in a hospital as a phlebotomist, he has been always had a job. Shy by nature, he later gained confidence in who he was and fell in love with school and academics.
Dr. Eifler attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1987. From there, he completed an intense general practice residency at the county hospital in Denver, Colorado. Service to others has always been an important part of his life and following his residency, Dr. Eifler joined the US. Navy and served with the Marine Corps in southern California. He joined his fellow service people overseas serving in Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield, where he treated not just injured American and allied soldiers but enemy combatants who had complicated dental and facial needs. He left the service as a highly decorated veteran.
Not content with his DDS, Dr. Eifler returned to school, this time for postgraduate work at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He earned his Master of Science while serving as an instructor at the dental school and completing an advanced degree in prosthodontics.
Dr. Eifler has a passion for dentistry and recognizes the impact it can have on a patients life, including how they interact with other people. He takes the time to listen to his patients fears, concerns and needs. He also understand the responsibility he and our team have in helping our patients overcome oral health and aesthetic issues. No matter if he is replacing a single crown, relieving your discomfort or addressing a complicated dental concern, Dr. Eifler will work with you to meet your needs.
Dr. Eifler values collaboration and the work done by his peers in the dental and medical fields. On a daily basis, we work with patients who have issues such as diabetes, bleeding disorders, eating and digestive disorders and organ transplants. He believes in making everyone, including you, an integral member of your care team.
Dr. Eiflers commitment to service extends to the people of Phoenix and the surrounding areas. He donates his time, skills and money to organizations such as the American Red Cross, St. Vincent De Paul Society, The Salvation Army and St. Thomas the Apostle. He is also an active member of the advisory board for the State of Arizona Victims Compensation Fund. He maintains professional memberships in the American College of Prosthodontists and several local study clubs.
Dr. Eifler has been married to his wife, Lisa, for over 26 years and they have three young adult sons. On those rare occasions when he has time for himself, he looks forward to being with his family, traveling and manicuring his yard. He finds relaxation in yard work, trimming trees and manicuring his yard. It is therapeutic for him. His growing love of all things food has intensified with cooking lessons, downloading recipes, trying new foods and monitoring the food channel in his spare time. Seeking more adventures, experiences and making a difference are what drives him. He has donated his time with the Maricopa County Board of Victims Right for 20 years and served as Chairman for the last three years. He feels truly blessed with his life, profession, community and family.
Carey grew up in Iowa near the Mississippi River. In 2013, she and her daughter moved to Phoenix, and she has been involved with dentistry since her early years. With over 18 years of experience dental assisting, Carey has moved into the administration position over the past eight years. Her background and experiences have allowed her to understand all aspects of a dental office as she serves as office manager for Valley Dental Group. She has a love for people and listening to their history. Carey has never met a stranger and has an engaging personality. She spends her spare time with her family and dogs, boating, climbing over rocks in a jeep and maintaining a very active social life.
Mary migrated to Arizona from the east coast. She has called the Valley home since 1990. Her vast experience and excellent patient care have built her a long and loyal following over her career. She has been practicing as a dental hygienist for over 30 years. Mary loves outdoors sports, walking on the California beach, and spending spare time with her family and friends. Slowing down is not in her vocabulary.
Jacque is a born-and-raised Arizona native and mother of two young children. You would never guess that Jacque has been in dentistry for over 15 years, with six as a dental hygienist. She loves helping people improve their home care and keep their teeth clean. When she is not at the office, she is busy managing a household, getting children ready for school, working out, and camping in Flagstaff on the weekends with her husband and family.
Hertha is the newest addition to our office. She and her family moved to Phoenix from just outside St. Louis, Missouri, in 1992. With over twenty years in dentistry, she brings a lot of hard work and can-do attitude to the office. Hertha loves and excels at projects. In her spare time, she loves being a grandmother, spending time with her family and dogs, listening to music, reading, and traveling.

Had the best cleaning of my life by the hygienist, Jacqueline. She was very gentle and took the time to thoroughly explain a treatment plan for me. The staff is great too!

This is a first-class organization with great people and clean and comfortable surroundings. Dr. Eifler is knowledgeable, skillful and listens to my concerns without making me feel rushed. Now that I am getting up there in age and having more dental issues, I feel fortunate to have recently found such a good dentist. I also really appreciate that Dr. Eifler is so pleasant and cheerful. The staff here is outstanding -- from Kelly who is Dr. Eifler's assistant, to Meghan and Carrie at the front desk -- all are professional, welcoming and warm. The dental hygienist, Minu, did a great job of cleaning my teeth. I highly recommend this practice

Not only having the pleasure of being one of the newest additions to the office staff, I recently had the pleasure of being a patient as well! I received my routine cleaning from Jackie and she was simply amazing. Very thorough, knowledgeable yet still gentle. I was also fitted for an occlusal guard from Dr. Eifler to help to protect the longevity and overall health of my teeth. I can personally say 1000% I do and will recommend OUR office to friends, family and anyone who may be in need of a dental family

Dr. Eifler is not only a great dentist, he is a good person as well. I fractured a tooth on Monday evening, he saw me the next day by noon, presumably canceling his lunch plans to fit me in. He will be our family dentist going forward!

By far one of the best dentists I've ever had! Dr. Eiffler not only knows what he is doing (and does it well) but also listens to me, addresses my concerns, and communicates very well. All of his staff are incredibly nice & friendly - and not in the fake cheesy way but rather, in the warm midwestern sort of way. I've had regular teeth cleanings here as well as a recent crown replacement. I was nervous about having my crown replaced since it was not a good experience with the prior dentist who had done it. However, I had no need to worry. I literally did not feel a single thing nor did the appointment take as long as anticipated. When it came time for the final crown fitting, a family member remarked how fast it was and I said, "that's because Dr. Eiffler actually knows what he is doing".

Dr. Eifler and his staff went above and beyond to expedite an appliance I needed for a rapid mouth surgery. He was able to take casts, have it made in one week and personally delivered it to the surgeon's home the night before surgery. He was so empathetic and personable throughout the appointments. We appreciate all so much. Thank you Dr. Eifler!!

The professionalism of all the people in this office is unmatched. In my many years of life including living in two foreign Countries and 5 US States I have not found any more caring and professional treatment than I have received here for the last 23 years. Yes, I have a connection to the Dentist but he will happily tell you I have been one of his toughest critics so my review reflects a perspective of what I have observed over the years and what I see today from my role as an old man patient.

Dr. Eifler knows his profession--he is extremely thorough in assessing his patient's needs. Great at explaining what he is doing and why, and answers all questions. Has a wonderful "chair-side" manner. He's also a prosthodontist, the specialty you want if you are getting a crown or an implant crowned. The staff is great---making appointments is easy and fast, and they are adept at billing insurance and working with their patients on payment. Great communication all around. Highly recommend.
