I made a premature judgment and original gave this practice 5 stars. I thought I could trust that I was in good hands considering they will pretend that you are their main concern , have you fill out forms to gain you as a patient. After having my procedure done with them and being completely dissatisfied. After reaching out to the practice to no avail I would highly suggest you seek a different practice. It is clear they do not care about their patients.

Went for a consultation and biopsy. Very professional and clean looking office. The staff all the way from booking to discharge were very informative and knowledgeable. I was called to room even before my official time, Dr. Shah was very thorough and explained everything in detail to my understanding. After examination we decided to go ahead with the biopsy, I informed them of my time restraints and they were more then accommodating. The biopsy just like everything was very quick and painless. I also appreciate the little gift bag and personal card that was included.

I went here a couple of years ago to get an impacted molar loosened. My orthodontist wanted to see if it could come down. I am now getting around to writing this review as I finally was able to get a second opinion. I was referred to Dr. Shaw from my orthodontist (who I trusted a the tlme). I strongly feel like I was ripped off because he pushed me to get anesthesia. I didn't want anesthesia but Dr. Shaw said there will he a lot of pulling and cracking. It felt like he was trying to scare me into getting anesthesia. So I went with it and then received a call the following day that the procedure was calculated wrong and was more than anticipated. I was originally quoted around $700 something, then it all ended up being over $900. Once the procedure was done, it was like he did nothing. I just had some marks on my gums that I could feel with my rongue but I had no pain what so ever immediately or anything. Also, it didn't work at all. I blame myself for not looking into how much it would be just to get the molar removed. My orthodontist did something similar to stimulate movement and I think that's exactly what Dr. Shaw did I recently had my molar removed from a different oral surgeon and had to get bone grafting done. I didn't have anesthesia and it all costs less than what Dr. Shaw did. I could have saved myself so much time and money if I had done my research. Please do your research and don't get anesthesia if it's not necessary. The extraction and bone graft I got wasn't bad at all and was fairly quick. My surgeon talked me through what he was doing and made me feel comfortable. I give place gets two stars because at least the staff was very nice.
