Dr. Matthew ParkerlovesHe is committed to providing the same level of care to each patient that he would to a member of his own family. He enjoys attending continuing education courses and is always looking for new ways to improve the quality of the dental work he provides.
Dr. Parker is a member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Association of Endodontists, and fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Parker is enthusiastic about technology and what those advances have done for dentistry. He continually seeks to stay abreast of the new topics in dentistry and is passionate about discussing the best treatment options for his patients.
Dr. Parker also serves as a mentor for cerecdoctors.com. In this role he helps educate other dentists about CEREC technology and its applications. Dr. Parker loves digital dentistry and is always excited to discuss this and learn with others.
Dentist Matthew Parker is a native of the Valley of the Sun and graduated from Horizon High School. He then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Following that, Dr. Parker completed his dental training at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where he earned his degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Matt Parker and his wife, Daphne, have three daughters named Hallie, Taylor, and Avery. In his leisure time, he loves spending time with his family, improving his golf game, serving in his church, and exercising.

Dr. Ewell is originally from the small farming town of Benjamin, Utah. He has four amazing children ranging in age from 8 to 16. In his free time he loves golfing with his kids and supporting them in their club soccer games. He is also an avid hunter and fly fisherman. Their family is complete with their four-legged friends, Doug and Russell, their two golden retrievers. His favorite baseball team is the Chicago Cubs. The Arizona Diamondbacks are growing on him!
In 2012, Dr. Ewell ventured to Las Vegas for dental school at the University of Nevada where he graduated in the top in his class. While attending UNLV he volunteered in many clinics but especially enjoyed the veterans clinic, where he felt grateful to be able to give back to those who have sacrificed so much for him and his family. These clinics afforded him the opportunity to gain a wide variety of surgical experience. He received the student award for outstanding achievement in oral surgery from the Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Additionally, he has extensive experience with crown and bridge, dentures and implant restoration.

Mondi has been in the dental field for over 30 years, starting as a dental assistant. Realizing her joy in helping others through the dental profession, she furthered her education and became a dental hygienist. Mondi is quick to make patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendship with each patient. Being a native Phoenician, she enjoys relaxing by the pool under the sun, participating in 5Ks and spending time with family and friends.
Suzi grew up in Phoenix and graduated from Phoenix College. She is married to her husband Dave and they have 4 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling with her husband.
Amy was raised in the Phoenix area. She has been in the dental field since 2002 and graduated from Phoenix College as a Dental Hygienist in 2007. Amy and her husband Kort have three children. In her spare time, Amy enjoys exercising, shopping and spending time with her family.
Chelsea was born and raised in Phoenix. She graduated as a Dental Hygienist from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. She joined our staff in August of 2016. Chelsea married her husband, Weston, in January of 2018. They love travelling, hiking and camping. Basically, anything outdoors!
Natalie is originally from South Dakota but has called Arizona home for the past 15 years. She began her career in dentistry in 2013 as a dental assistant and graduated from dental hygiene school in 2019. Natalie and her Husband Eddie were recently married in 2019. They have three chihuahuas and enjoy their time together hanging with friends and family, camping and going to the sand dunes.
Maggie has been a Dental Assistant for 8 years. Maggies background includes working closely with patients with special needs. She believes all patients deserve the same quality of care and a healthy smile. On her free time she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Angel. Together they enjoy working out, watching Netflix and going to Disneyland.

As a new patient, I felt welcomed and very much cared for by the staff of AZ Family Dental. Dr. Parker explained thoroughly my dental problems that need to be addressed and were clear as to how the procedure goes. I have never felt more comfortable while being at the dentist while I was getting my procedures done. Thank you everyone for taking good care of me!

My family has been taken care of at AZFamilyDental since I retired in 2013. We moved out of town 2019 for 2yrs. That whole time was one problem after another with our dental care. Coming back to AZFam feels great again. My wife is finally happy about her appointments, her treatment and outcomes. The staffs' default setting is extremely polite and professional. I don't worry anymore about how my appointment is going to go, we never wait more than a few minutes and I feel like we get the best care and advice available. No matter what comes up I know we'll be taken care of in the most comfortable way possible. I recommend AZFamilyDental to anyone that asks.

I've been looking for a permanent primary care for dentistry for the last 5 years. I finally found it with AZ Family Dental. They have provided me with the most professional and genuine "bedside manner" that I've experienced in the dental field. They have never judged me based on my history, or even my emotions. And in fact they helped me through them. I experienced my first ever dental emergency over the last week and a half. After seeing several doctors and specialists, I made an appointment with them. (they had no availability in their schedule when it first happened, and they encouraged me to call around and see where I could get in to anyone who could help me based on my symptoms.) Out of all of the doctors and specialists I saw, AZ Family Dental took my pain seriously. They knew there was something wrong and knew they needed to help me. Now FINALLY after almost two weeks of being at a level 10 for pain, I am pain free (except for soreness of course). Thank you, AZ Family Dental, for helping me and relieving me of this pain, not judging me, and laughing along with my jokes. I'm glad that I have finally found a primary care for dentistry!

I'm a fairly new patient of Dr. Parker and AZ Family Dental. I've had horrible experiences in the past with dentists being dishonest. This is not the case here. In fact, I've been wanting braces for quite some time and two prior dentists tried getting me to do Invisalign, even after the projection showed that my teeth would still not be 100% straight. Dr. Parker took one look at me and told me he could get my teeth 95% there but they wouldn't be perfect and he didn't want that for me and didn't think I would be happy. We all know how much Invisalign costs ($5K+) - the honesty of Dr Parker to not put dollar signs in front of what's best for his patient speaks volumes. He did refer me to a great orthodontist and I'm on my way to having perfect teeth! In addition to his honesty, the staff here at AZ Family Dental are amazing! Oh, and did I mention that his equipment is state-of-the-art? I ended up moving 1.5 hrs from their office and will continue to make the trip for my cleanings and any future dental work.

Friendly staff and good hygienist. Dr. Parker is personable and gives patients options. My complaint: waiting room does not require masks and there were four unmasked people there during my visit.

The staff at Az Family Dental are very friendly and welcoming. They always make sure I am cozy during any work being done. They have the most advanced equipment and everything is taken care of quickly. Dr. Parker is very detailed and makes sure I understand what he is doing to my teeth. I love them.

AZ Family Dental is a great facility with marvelous employees and exceptional service. I'm very happy with the work performed by the technicians and the dentist. My most recent previous dental technician claimed I had gum disease. And the dentist stood by in agreement with the technician. It wasn't true and I knew it. AZ Family Dental has confirmed my belief and has delivered exceptional care for my needs. I am very grateful.
