Dr. Carlos has been practicing dentistry since 1992. Originally from the Philippines, he moved to Los Angeles, CA at the age of six. He grew up in Southern California and attended UCLA, where he completed undergraduate studies. He then went on to the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, California, where he earned his dental degree.
In 2001, Dr. Carlos moved to Arizona, and he has been creating beautiful smiles in the Phoenix area ever since. His favorite pastimes include golfing and playing guitar. When not at the office, he can usually be found on one of the many local golf courses.
Dr. Mandap has the distinction of being the first Filipina dental graduate in the state of Arizona. She is originally from San Francisco, and first attended UC Berkley where she completed undergraduate studies. From there she went on to A.T. Still Universitys Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ASDOH), where she was part of the first graduating class of in 2007.
Rya is our Office Manager with 17 years of experience and exceptional clinical and business knowledge of dentistry. Trained at Luke Air Force Base and Phoenix College. She is a loving mother to 3 beautiful kids. Her son is currently serving our country in the Air Force; her Daughter in school for Medical Aesthetics; her Youngest daughter plays in an all boys basketball team.
She went to school at the American Institute of Dental Assisting and has been an Assistant since 2016. Fluent in Tagalog. Donnas husband has been serving in the military since Feb 26, 2003. They have one daughter in high school who loves Arts. Donna is self-motivated, reliable, and always open for improvement. Her main goal is to give the best service and care for all our patients and to make them feel welcome and safe. Achieving to be part of the best dental team. She loves animals and owns a cat, 3 dogs, and all are rescues. She also loves her coffee every morning.
Meghan is our resident Dental Hygienist. She has a passion for helping others achieve their personal wellness goals and is a creative thinker. Meghan has dual licensure for Dental Hygiene in Arizona and Michigan. When Meghan is not in the office she is working with kids, learning new skill sets in the promotional/marketing field, using her Microblading certification, and creating art.
Chanelle, a graduate of Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, will greet you with a wonderful smile. Her hobbies include traveling the world and yoga. As a matter of fact, she studied yoga training in Rishikesh, India and Bali, Indonesia.
Sabrina is our friendly and dental nurse, known for greeting every patient with a smile. She attended Seton Catholic Preparatory in Chandler before going on to Arizona State University where she earned her BA degree. Aside from helping dental patients, Sabrinas passions include yoga. She has trained extensively in Bali as a yoga teacher.
Christa is our Dental Nurse. She is currently going to school to become a Dental Hygienist. Christas hobbies include dancing, working out, and martial arts. If you're looking for a great dentist, look no further. I was in a lot of pain when I went to Dr. Carlos and my procedure went very smoothly (considering I've had very painful experiences at the dentist in the past) and pain is now gone. Amazing work. Pleasant staff. Thank you.

This is hands down the best dentist I have ever been to. And I'm not exaggerating. I'm not the person who writes reviews. In fact I live 40 min away now and still only go here. I tell everyone I know looking for a dentist to go to Az dental wellness in Scottsdale.

I was referred to Dr. Carlos for an emergency situation. I have now found a dental clinic I will use for all dental needs. The doctor and his staff are so welcoming. They explain every procedure they are going to do. The office is spotless and during the pandemic, this meant to world to me. I cannot tell you how happy I am with AZ Dental Wellness. A huge thank you to Dr. Carlos and his entire staff!!!

I had a fabulous experience at AZ Dental Wellness. Dr. Carlos is the best. I had a dental implant and every step of the way Dr. Carlos was knowledgeable and skilled. Definitely will keep Dr. Carlos as my dentist.

All around phenomenal service from the front desk staff, the dental assistants, to the hygienist, and especially Dr. Carlos. Everyone is pleasant, professional, easy to work with, and personable. Nothing gives me high anxiety like dental work but the atmosphere is welcoming and I always feel comfortable. Dr. Carlos has the most likable personality/bedside manner, and you can tell that he genuinely cares about your needs. I have been here for an implant and a cleaning so far. Both were painless and I am very happy with my implant which looks very natural! Dr. Carlos is very mindful & makes sure that you are comfortable throughout your procedure. He's also very knowledgeable and you can tell that he takes pride in his work. I researched and shopped around for quite a while looking for a quality dental provider with reasonable prices before choosing Dr. Carlos. I had lost my dental insurance and have to pay cash for my services. I was very unhappy with the chain dental provider I had been going to previously, who charged premium prices for shotty work. It's hard to find a good quality, honest dentist who cares about your actual dental care rather than how much they can bill your insurance. I'm in my forties and have been to multiple dental providers throughout my life and I can easily say that choosing AZ Dental Wellness was one of the best choices I have ever made.

I highly recommend Dr. Carlos and his entire team! One of the best dentists I've seen. They never recommend unnecessary procedures to you. It's rare these days to find great dentists like Dr. Carlos and his team to really put patients' interest first.
