Hi, Im Dr. Mark Halboth, President of Awesome Dental Care. Im a graduate of the University of Michigan. I started my practice in 1985 and over the years we have expanded our facilities to better serve our patients. We are now known as Awesome Dental Care of Livonia, MI. I am passionate and excited about all phases of dentistry. I continue to strive to give you quality personal care and develop a strong and meaningful relationship.
Dr. Josephine Finazzo is a licensed Orthodontic Specialist who has been practicing her profession for over 30 years. She completed her dental education at the University of Florida College Of Dentistry in 1980 where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree.
Dr. Finazzo then completed her Orthodontic Specialty Residency at the University of Detroit, receiving her Certificate in Orthodontics in 1982. Dr. Finazzo is highly trained in all phases of Adult and Childrens Orthodontic Treatment with an emphasis on early treatment to minimize or eliminate complicated later treatments. Dr. Finazzo has 3 sons, and resides on Grosse Ile.
Dr. Omar Mario Masabni has earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the American University of Beirut and his Bachelor of Oral & Dental Surgery Degree with high distinction for ranking top 1,from BAU Faculty of Dentistry, where he was recognized with Gamal Abdel Nasser Award for Academic Distinction by the Lebanese Prime Minister.
During his dental studies, Dr. Masabni developed a strong interest in periodontal medicine and then relocated to Detroit, Michigan in pursuance of his acceptance into the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he served as chief resident. He completed 3 additional years of specialty training in Periodontology, Implantology & IV sedation, where he received a Certificate in periodontics & dental implant surgery and a Master of Science from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital. Dr. Masabni received numerous honors and awards including the Zahi Khalaf Merit Award for Academic Excellence from the International College of Dentists and the Best Interdisciplinary/Complex Clinical Case Award from the Michigan Periodontal Association. Dr. Masabni was offered membership in the prestigious Jesuit Academic Honor Society Alpha Sigma NU for ranking in the top 15% of the class during his specialty training.
In addition to dentistry, he was also passionate about playing the violin where he spent long hours of practice in the conservatory of music and was rewarded with a diploma of musical excellence twelve years after he picked up his first violin. Dr. Masabni performed with several national symphony orchestras, wining numerous awards. Dr. Masabni is currently an affiliate professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, encouraging the next generation of dentists to have the same passion for periodontology and dedication to serving patients.
Dr. Masabni specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease and offers services that include: Extractions and bone grafting, bone & soft tissue reconstructive plastic surgery, esthetic & functional crown-lengthening, dental implants placement & maintenance and surgical tooth exposure for orthodontics.

This is a husband/wife duo. The wife, whom runs the front desk, is listed as treasurer, a job she could probably not attain with her own credentials. Talking with her is like trying to navigate an impossible maze. On my last day as a patient here, she fell off her proverbial rocker and verbally accosted me over a question/concern I had. There is more dysfunction at this dental office than three Nutty Professor families combined! I'd rather (gladly!) take a seat with them at the dinner table over a seat in Mark Halboth's dental chair any day. What a nightmare. My experience with this office was Horrible, with a capital H. When I alerted the dentist (Mark) I'd be telling all my friends and family about the way I was treated by he and his disgruntled wife at the front desk, he became disgruntled too and actually threatened my well-being. He said he'd make me pay, that he'd make my life miserable. He said he wouldn't let me "ruin his reputation." I guess he wants to do that all by himself. He might want to talk to his wife about that. I switched offices after the last debacle here; remaining a patient at Awesome Dental after the way he threatened me was no longer an option. Leaving was one of the best things I've done for my health! Not going back was the only "awesome" part of my dealings with this practice. When I think about my experience with this office, I cringe. I wouldn't recommend this dental practice to anyone and I'm not afraid to say so. There's a dentist on every street corner, Awesome Dental isn't the only game in town. Buyer beware.

I got veneers on my front teeth, and they look great! It was quick and easy , and Dr Halboth was able to get them done before my sister's wedding! A very good experience!

Awesome dental is the best orthodontist/dentist i have ever been to, i have been a patient since i was 15 I am now 21 and refuse to go to another office. Every time i come in they know exactly who i am, i can't express how much they make you feel like family. They helped me when i fell on financial hardship, they ensured that we would figure out a solution and we did. I definitely recommend 10/10, thank you Awesome Dental!

I was in pain and needed my wisdom teeth out. Michele at the front desk went above and beyond to get me in to see the dentist asap. The whole staff was super nice and the process was painless and quick! Highly recomended

I've gotten my teeth cleaned here twice a year, every year and my wisdom teeth removed as well. Staff is extremely friendly, they remember my entire family whoe goes here as well by name. The staff makes going to the dentist a fun trip!

Extremely would not recommend. In the past three years My fiance have had two root canals done and BOTH a couple months later had to go to a specialist due to rotting out canals because they missed a canal. Costed me three times the amount i payed there and having to redo the caps on both of his teeth. "Awesome"..

After breaking a tooth they were the only office that agreed to see me right away. Extraction was done quickly and they were in my insurance network too. Friendly and efficient staff.
