Hi, Im Dr. Mark Halboth, President of Awesome Dental Care. Im a graduate of the University of Michigan. I started my practice in 1985 and over the years we have expanded our facilities to better serve our patients. We are now known as Awesome Dental Care of Livonia, MI. I am passionate and excited about all phases of dentistry. I continue to strive to give you quality personal care and develop a strong and meaningful relationship.
Dr. Josephine Finazzo is a licensed Orthodontic Specialist who has been practicing her profession for over 30 years. She completed her dental education at the University of Florida College Of Dentistry in 1980 where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree.
Dr. Finazzo then completed her Orthodontic Specialty Residency at the University of Detroit, receiving her Certificate in Orthodontics in 1982. Dr. Finazzo is highly trained in all phases of Adult and Childrens Orthodontic Treatment with an emphasis on early treatment to minimize or eliminate complicated later treatments. Dr. Finazzo has 3 sons, and resides on Grosse Ile.
Dr. Omar Mario Masabni has earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the American University of Beirut and his Bachelor of Oral & Dental Surgery Degree with high distinction for ranking top 1,from BAU Faculty of Dentistry, where he was recognized with Gamal Abdel Nasser Award for Academic Distinction by the Lebanese Prime Minister.
During his dental studies, Dr. Masabni developed a strong interest in periodontal medicine and then relocated to Detroit, Michigan in pursuance of his acceptance into the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he served as chief resident. He completed 3 additional years of specialty training in Periodontology, Implantology & IV sedation, where he received a Certificate in periodontics & dental implant surgery and a Master of Science from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital. Dr. Masabni received numerous honors and awards including the Zahi Khalaf Merit Award for Academic Excellence from the International College of Dentists and the Best Interdisciplinary/Complex Clinical Case Award from the Michigan Periodontal Association. Dr. Masabni was offered membership in the prestigious Jesuit Academic Honor Society Alpha Sigma NU for ranking in the top 15% of the class during his specialty training.
In addition to dentistry, he was also passionate about playing the violin where he spent long hours of practice in the conservatory of music and was rewarded with a diploma of musical excellence twelve years after he picked up his first violin. Dr. Masabni performed with several national symphony orchestras, wining numerous awards. Dr. Masabni is currently an affiliate professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, encouraging the next generation of dentists to have the same passion for periodontology and dedication to serving patients.
Dr. Masabni specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease and offers services that include: Extractions and bone grafting, bone & soft tissue reconstructive plastic surgery, esthetic & functional crown-lengthening, dental implants placement & maintenance and surgical tooth exposure for orthodontics.
