Dr. Volchonok is a dual Ivy-League trained Board-Certified Periodontist and Oral Implantologist with advanced training in minimally-invasive surgical and laser periodontal therapy procedures. Dr. Volchonok graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, at the top of his class with over 10 clinical awards in Periodontics, Implant Dentistry, and Prosthodontics as well as being inducted into the National Dental Honors Society. Uniquely, during each of his years at dental school, he was awarded the Deans Scholarship, the highest merit honor given by the prestigious University.
Dr. Volchonok continued his training for three additional years at Columbia University in New York City, where he earned both a Certificate in Periodontics and a Masters of Science degree for his original research in the field of implant dentistry. Dr. Volchonok received recognition and awards from Columbia University and regionally through the Northeast Society of Periodontists. After graduating from the nations most prestigious Periodontics programs, Dr. Volchonok became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a distinction held by fewer than 1% of dentists in the world. Dr. Volchonok has continued to advance his education by becoming a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a Fellow of the International Academy of Laser Dentistry. He has also received additional advanced training in minimally-invasive gum recession treatments, laser treatment of gum disease, and computer guided implant and prosthetic treatments. He also is the founder and director of the NYC Interdisciplinary Study Club and lectures other dentists and surgeons throughout the country.
Currently Dr. Volchonok maintains two cutting edge private practices dedicated to Minimally-Invasive Periodontal Surgery, Laser Periodontal Therapy, and Biological Implant Dentistry in Manhattan, NY and Greenwich, CT. Dr. Volchonok has earned significant recognition from his patients and his peers by being continuously recognized as a Top Doctor in NY and CT and recently, he has been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 specialist in the country. Dr. Volchonok has earned a reputation of being a progressive and knowledgeable periodontist with a caring and attentive passion to helping patients achieve lasting oral and systemic health.

Dr. Michele Volchonok received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the prestigious Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia. Graduating with high honors, Dr. Volchonok continued her training and is a Fellow of the Institute of Advanced Laser Dentistry. She is also certified in advanced dentistry therapies such as Invisalign, Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (S.M.A.R.T), NightLase airway and snoring treatments, and iTero 3D intra-oral scanning. She is also a member of the Greenwich and Connecticut Dental Societies. Dr. Volchonok believes in practicing with the latest dental technologies and concepts and thereby attends continuous education courses regularly all over the world. She values bringing this knowledge to her patient care.
Dr. Volchonok cares deeply about building a relationship with every patient, taking time to understand their individual goals for their smile and overall health. She strives to make sure that her patients have the best dental experience possible.

They will charge you $350 for cleaning even when your insurance covers it. You will be asked to pay front, but after the insurance paid the company, they will not refund you. You need to keep chasing and chasing and chasing. You will be told that insurance sent you a check; the office sent you a check - none of these are real. I just got a refund for my payment 4 months ago. now I am working on chasing back my last month's payment. If you don't remember to ask for reimbursement, or you don't have the time chasing, they will keep the money and you ended up paying double.
