Coming from a family of dentists, I grew up seeing the difference we can make and the influence we can have on people. I translate that into my practice today by making sure I give people the best dental experience they have ever had. Flipping someones perspective on coming to the dental office is one of the most gratifying things we do.
In my young career, I have already put hundreds of hours into continuing education to take my surgical expertise to the next level and deliver top-level care to my patients. I love treating my patients throughout the entire process of tough procedures while keeping them as informed as possible. My patients are comfortable enough to ask the tough questions about their procedures, which I love!

I would recommend Dr. Hughes to anyone! He has extensive knowledge regarding teeth and is able to quickly identify any problems, most importantly he is most gentle working in your mouth! Absolutely pain free even with the numbing poke! He understands that the patient needs to feel in control of his or her treatment. Compassionate and honest couldn't ask for a better dentist! 100% RECOMMEND

I recently moved to Avon Lake and needed a new dentist. I chose Avon Dental Care and Dr. Hughes because they were close to home. The facility is clean and modern, the waiting area is comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. My hygienist, Amber, was gentle and thorough. Dr. Hughes spent a good deal of time with me on my first visit discussing the particulars of my teeth and answering my questions. I can't say that I ever love going to the dentist, but as a necessary part of overall health care, going to this dental office is about as pleasant an experience as it can be.
