We are a family oriented dental office located in the El Cajon area. Our goal is to provide you with a comfortable atmosphere during your treatment using the state of the art equipment. We strive to provide our patients with the best and most complete dental care. Dr. Brant and the Avocado Family Dentistry staff frequently attend continuing education seminars to learn the latest dental techniques.
We are a private dental practice with one doctor which gives you personal attention. You will see the same doctor and caring staff each time for your dental treatment. Dr. Brant uses the most advanced materials and procedures available. He practices comfortable, caring dentistry focused on establishing optimal health, with strong emphasis on getting to know each patient. In addition to his technical proficiency, Dr. Brant is a careful listener and will explain beforehand which treatment is best for your individual needs
Dr. Brant has lived in San Diego Since 1967. He obtained his B.S degree from San Diego State University and his DDS degree from University of California Los Angeles in 1984. Dr. Brant is also a retired Captain USNR U.S. Navy. He started his private practice in 1987 in El Cajon CA. Purchased first practice in 1989. Purchased second and current practice in 2000. In 2008 Dr. Brant took the Maxi implant course at Loma Linda Dental School. Dr. Brant was also the President of the San Diego County Dental Society in 2017 and 2018. Dr. Brant currently sits on the Board of Directors for the San Diego County Dental Society. Dr. Brant also is an adjunct professor at the UCSD Medical School and is also a delegate for the California Dental Association.
Married for 40 years to his wife Mendy, Dr. Brant has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. Dr. Brants favorite pastime is playing golf with his friends and watching the Padres to which he has been a fan since 1967, before they were even in the Major League!

I have been seeing Dr Brant now for the last 6 months. He completed all of the work which needed to be done and I am very happy with his attention to detail. He takes the time to get it right the first time. I enjoy our friendly visits when I have an appointment. He works fast but is never rushed trying to take care of two patients at once. The rest of the helpers and staff are also great. They all have my highest recommendation.
